Fev can accept a reprimand and 90 points towards future reports! 8) 8) 8)

Whitas similar on a tripping charge but 80 points.

Great news.

We are now a good chance to beat the Lions this week.

I would rather have been on the end of Fevola's (non) hit on Stenglein than the Waters hit on Lappin

I'd still fight it.
Be buggered if we want another week added onto his next suspension.
Let's not bury our head in the sand and think he won't get reported ever again.
We must fight it, and have the report withdrawn.
Icannot fathom how such a charge can be sustained.
It was free kick, it was paid, case closed.

If the next incident is equally weak, does that mean we have to risk 2 weeks?
It may be preliminary final week 2009...
Don't want him missing the GF if we can clean his record and have no carry overs.

Just needs to be more careful.

How about putting a big tackle on than entertaining the forearm / elbow / arm

There was not that much in it, however there is a fine line between a slap on the wrist and be more careful to one week or two.

That's the nature of the tribunal system now.

What shits me more, and I have mentioned this before is when the umpire doesn't just say "in my opinion you appeared to make high contact with the arm, therefore I am reporting you for high contact / striking", instead he says along the lines of " I am reporting you for striking, you made head high contact, yes you did, that was stupid ...... and basically lectures, when in fact it appeared from his spot that high contact was made when in fact there was minimal connection and that was to the upper back / shoulders.

the umpires are @#$%&! wits though - arrogant pricks the lot of them

calling murphy a diver - saying he slung himself etc etc - im reporting you blah blah they think they are bigger than the game

they along with their boss are ruining the game -

at the very least all the umpires should meet prior to the game and agree on how they are going to interpret and umprire the game.

so damn annoying that at one end with one umpire something is a free kick or holding the ball etc - but at the other end with a different umpire its play on or ball up

bloody communicate you maggotts

Ludicrous that he's been offered a reprimand for that, should have been laughed at and dismissed it was that embarrassingly pissweak.

I understand your point of view barrel but having a week hanging over his head might make him focus on not tempting fate again. The report was soft but Fev was silly with his actions and he was lucky he didn't make better contact and end up with a few weeks rest.

Regards Cazzesman

meanwhile our courageous "coach", in perpetual self-preservation mode, of course wont be making a stand against any of the inconsistencies we've become fed up with ... let's not concern ourselves denis with stuff beyond our "control" right? ...

strange though how the biggest whiners manage to have their players' reports thrown out ...
