You guys have too much time on your hands! Rather than talking finals let's concentrate on improving each year. The club needs to look at a 3 to 5 year plan! Trying to achieve success too early (without hard work) got us into this mess. 10th is something to aim for.

LET'S NOT GET CARRIED AWAY WITH NAB CUP SUCCESS!!!!!!

Nope! SCREW THE 3-5 YEAR PLAN! That's Smorgan Territory,

We were told of a 3-5year plan 3-5 years ago and were asked to have paitence.

Now, what's the point of having a 3-5 year plan if in those 3-5 years we will most certainly have a new Coach (Pagan out next season if not this season) & a new President (Pratt himself has said he'll only stay for 2 years).

The only 3 year plan i want to happen is from board level to find out our next Coach (MOST Important) and new President (equally as important).

On-Field...........................I want to see a total change in the way we play. There is no use denying the likes of Simpson & Murphy to run and carry the ball whilst taking on defenders. There is very little logic in not playing a potential game-changing CHF in Kennedy in the spot we want him to thrive in CONSISTANTLY for at least half a season. There is no point in flooding all the time cause the palyers we have are much more usefull attacking mode.

This year, for me (and because i understand our youth is exactly that - YOUNG) i just want to go to the footy and enjoy watching what our boys have got!
Favourite game last year was EASILLY the West Coast game now that i think of it. And we lost that one! But geez, what a performance and what an entertaining display from pretty much everybody!

I'm not expecting a Premiership nor am i demanding a finals appearnce, i just want this great basket of talent to be brought out and shown off........and for us supporters not to be denied of that because of the numbers on the scoreboard.

But as far as a 3-5 year plan goes...............i'm over that (for on-field stuff that is).

The only plan we should focus all our attention on a the moment is the plan to get supporters back to the club - and we're doing a pretty good bloddy job at that by PLAYING GOOD FOOTBALL!

14 Kangaroos 22 2 19 1 1995 2405 10 82.9

This ladder is based upon:

1. Tarrant and Solomon dont have good years, and the Fremantle Dockers start a Herion cartel mid season at Cousins house.

2.The WCE sruggle after half of their team is given a "long term suspension" after the drug testing conducted earlier this week, which shows that 5 key players are "ice"/ "Cocaine" users.

3. Essendon* are actually as shit as I thought they would be. Mid season, St Kevin gets fired ( :-D :garthp: :-D :garthp: :-D )

4. Collingwood flounder. No explaination needed.

5. Richmond start soul searching in April.

6. laidley leaves the Kangaroos mid year after Carey berrates him in the media every week. Anyway they dont have a forward line. They will be lucky to win many games this year.

7. Adelaide, Sydney and Geelong have good years.

8. Port are still rebuilding.

9.St Kilda do there usual thing....sort of good....sort of shit.

10.Hawthorn play at their over rated best.

If all of these things happen....and our kids dont get injured...we could play finals :-D

8th spot is ours if we keep playing attacking, direct footy like we have been and don't get major injuries to key players such as Fevola, Stevens, etc.

if things work out like i predicted i'll be left a very happy man...Geelong and Port could both finish 8th i think though...

Nic

Agree on our position...my own view is that Collingwood will finish bottom three....will be a tight pack in the bottom eight.
Brisbane with a full team will be hard work at home and will win a few more than most think...Geelong and Port should improve...
Going to predict the Crows will battling to make the eight......lost some goalkickers and will struggle without Riccuito.

I agree that Collingwood will be near the bottom. Their forward line will be ordinary without Tarrant and with the injuries to both Didak and Rusling. Buckley, Clement, Rocca, Burns, Wakelin and Prestigiacomo are getting old.

My other predictions:

- Adelaide to slide due to Riccuito missing and the likes of McLeod, Goodwin and Edwards all past their prime. Loss of Clarke and Biglands in the ruck will hurt as well.
- West Coast top four but not top two
- Freo will be the team to beat
- Kangaroos wooden spooners
- Essendon* near bottom
- Geelong to improve significantly
- Port Adelaide to improve providing Tredrea is fit

I think we will end up with 7-9 wins.
