You can buy tickets through ticketmaster for TD as of now.

If this true i suggest if people started buying their tickets now i find it hard to see them changing it as advertised.

Compensation for people travelling from interstate who have allready booked their tickets ie airline would be ropeable. And
a few from brisbane i gather.

How would the afl handle that one. is their legal problems with them changing it

Your thoughts on the above senario

Did the AFL only find out about the GP and swimming champs this week? :?

Surely they would have acted professionally and prepared for an interstate team accomodation months ago just in case?

Exactly - send the Lions to Hotel Formule 1 in Campbellfield - I hear the hotel rooms are $59 per night

Hey, I live near *and have - on two occasions - stayed at* the Formula 1 hotel in Campbellfield... and I have to say, they are small, dingy, ugly, ill-furnished rooms...

...perfect for the Lions. 8)

Now, is it just me - or is it a bit rich having Leigh Matthew's whine about having to travel 3 times *4 if the final is held in Vic*... heck, it's not like we've been planted here in Melbourne the whole NAB Cup!!

Beside, was Anderson saying just the other day that there is nothing wrong with the 'most goals hosts the final' idea?! Would look like a spanka if they did a backflip on this now...

The Lions have found accomodation in Glen Waverley according to the afl site.

Isn't Brisbane's Melbourne social club base the Manningham hotel in Bulleen which if I recall has accomodation and is closer to Telstra Dome than Glen Waverley.

Would be either one of these...

Novatel:

Waverley International:
http://www.thewaverley.com/

Should find out which one and organise a whole lot of noise outside all night on the Friday.

I thought Divine would let them live rent free and the first hundred callers got a free 'cino machine, what gives... Now they probably want the game moved to VFL Park.
