no worries. he's tentative but if his brother is coming then he will need to get a gen admission ticket for him as I've got 1 ticket left. Let him know that the gen admin tickets aren't allocated seats so if he picks up 1 ticket there won't be a problem sitting together.

Hey, Danielle...

Racking up your 2500 posts by arranging tix to see Carlton in a GF - does it get any better than THAT!!

is that walking up and sitting wherever you want?

It looks that way - Can anyone else get reserved seating if your not an AFL member.

In 2005 there was reserved seating but going via the ticketmaster website it just looks like general admission which really sucks. Its going to be messy...

Doubt it will be that messy if you get to the Dome early enough and get a decent seat. I remember rocking up to the Essendon* v Carlton match at the Dome (Round 1 - NAB Cup) and walked in around 4.45 pm and got the usual seats that we have on Level 2 during the season no problems.

On a side note, really amazes me sometimes how some people roll up to the football 10 minutes before the first bounce and expect to get a pretty good seat at the game...

Who wants to rock up to a game hrs before the start and watch the grass grow. I want to rock up when I want and not worry about looking for seats.

Thats why people want reserved seats so they can rock up 10 minutes before the start and know the seats they paid for are waiting for them. Also, I can email the tickets to my mates and know whoever gets there first don't have to worry about trying to save 4-5 seats and keep getting nagged by people "are those seats free - well nobody sitting there at the moment"
