CLOKE WAS BRILLIANT!!!!!

CLOKE killed in the ruck and won most contests in the middle.

CLOKE has a much better leap than we realised and could easily compete with Laycock and Hille who are slightly taller and bigger.

if Cloke had held that mark and kicked those 2 goals, we'd be creaming ourselves.

We will be a good side when Fisher is not in the best 18 though. His disposal was woeful.

Quoted for truth. :(

His kicking from 50 still lets him down which isn't good enough for a player who has received a lot of wraps. It's still a mystery why Brad is considered to one of our young guns and leaders when he's almost a one-dimensional player. :?

It's just one match, but if he hasn't improved that aspect of his game I would consider him trade bait at the end of the year if he doesn't improve from here on in. He's too skinny and injury prone to be moved to the backline and Edwards sounds like a promising type who would add a real hard edge to the HFF line.

Grigg would be another player who might overtake him and can be rotated through the backline, forwardline, wing and midfield as a running player.

One of the great things from the game was that it was a very even performance and that most of our 'experienced' players (barring Fev) weren't dominant but played well when required and we still won.

it'l be nice when setanta learns how to lay a hip 'n shoulder. he could be a real enforcer with his pace and strength, but i imagine it's not a skill that would have been focussed on too much at this stage. it's also about protecting himself in the contest, there was almost a serious collision with monfries?? and setanta left himself wide open to be hit. i think he was lucky.
