Indeed. Nobody seems to know what's going on, least of all poor Rob Waters - his report made little sense at all.

So many questions arise as a result of this latest development. Was the whole Silvagni situation trumped up last night as justification for supporting Pagan, when really there was a lot more to it? Does the board have cold feet regarding Silvagni for some reason?

Baffling. Our media management and public relations have been abysmal throughout this episode, and Ian Coutts would have to be nervous.

We could very well have a coup on our hands and very soon. Believe me when I say the phones are running hot and SOS' pulling out could be part of a plan to shake up this board.

With 2 already walking (BM and AG)...this might get uglier yet.

Mark Robinson believes that Pagan's future at the club isn't safe yet.

Seems to think that if there is a board challenge at the end of the year, they will almost certainly sack Pagan.

Also says that now SOS has pulled out, that is a major factor in Pagan remaining at the club and would the board re-consider their current decision on Pagan.

Perhaps they should appoint Laurie and Karl as the new medical staff.

Athorn the Wonderkid hereby withdraws the earlier post as it was confusing, misleading, incorrect and not really funny in anyone's language.

Athorn the Wonderkid withdraws the suggestion that 1993 Grand Final star (for Essendon*) Mark Athorn has been appointed as anything.

Jars, this whole saga from the beginning isnt making much sense.

To make it even more confusing, Mark Robinson said on SEN just before 6pm said if a new ticket got in at the end of the year that once again Pagan is gone. I'm so confused!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think jim thats the easy bit.

new ticket...current people behind the sack pagan idea

Old Board thinks a challenge will come from this group

If they lose.....Pagan gone.

Question is do Brown and Williams and their non-pagan followers have the time to commit to leadership of just throwing cash at passers by who happen to look nice.

Sorry about the last bit - passing fantasy of mine.

I'd love an EGM, the kind we had to get rid of Elliot, sack everyone completely, coaching staff included and just start completely again afresh with completely new people.
