Hey Surrey look at the guy at full back -Sam Rowe and that will give you an indication of the list quality -he tries hard but isn't up to Afl standard and the fact that he can keep others out of the side shows diabolical nature of list

The fact that Carrazzo hasn't played at all for 8 weeks approx and comes straight means the list isn't that good and doesn't really have much leadership
How many of our players are considered in top 10 AFL players -in top 50 before season started confirmed where we are no star quality

I agree Rowe is not a long-term prospect, but as a horses for courses match-up he's our best chance tomorrow.

He'll line up against an inexperienced Daniher and come close to matching him for size and pace. He should whip him in strength and endurance given he's 6 years older. It's a very good test for Sam.

Keep saying it...."But I get only round 2??" it will be round 22 or whatever....And we still will not have accomplished a thing....We need to get something out of this season, start playing kids get game time Experience into them....This list we have currently playing will not get us anywhere. Sooner everyone wakes up to this the better.

I'm of a different view. I say stick with what we've got and the process until it works. Play the kids, but not at the expense of senior experience just for the sack of blooding kids. We've got to continue with the game plan until we get it right. Every opponent we face has differing styles of play, and we'll adjust as needed, but OUR style of play has to be stuck with until we get it right. Without this blooding kids won't change a thing. Every club has their style, Hawthorn, Freo, Geelong ...

MM is trying to implement a style of play into this team and its a process that has to become second nature. Its gonna take time. Is it an outdated style of play? Many will argue it is. From what I've seen (granted, in very small patches thus far) it works a treat. But until we get it right, for four quarters, week in, week out, we'll simply keep coming up short. Our days of 100+ point beltings are far behind us, thank God. As last year showed, we are getting beaten by the smallest of margins, hell we only needed to have kicked straight last week and we would have seen yet another famous come from behind victory against Richmond.

Eventually we'll get it right. I honestly believe we will. Its just completely frustrating that its not happening right now season proper. 0 - 2 hurts and now we face the biggest cheaters in AFL history. The challenge is there, and the boys don't train their collective guts out every day to lose games of footy. They want to be winners, and train and play to be so. Me, I'm hoping against the scum we can bring it for four quarters. If we can, we'll smash this mob of cheating scum. Reality is telling me we'll bring it, but not for four quarters and we'll have fade outs during the game. But I'm not giving up just yet.

If it is enough for hawthorn to bring Sewell back through the reserves surely carrazzo shouldn't come straight in with no footy
