I don't think enough has been made of the fact that if Murphy and Hodge were allowed to slide in for the ball that Murphy would have played out the game.

How can we make a statement however when we keep getting reported for the feather duster incidents and the opposition get away with murder? I just don't understand some people's logic in here. In the Betts incident and other similar scenarios, you just accept those suspensions as necessary payment in exchange for the respect of your team mates and opponents on the footy field.

Hodge doesn't exactly go around trying to pick players of his own size.
