This.

Good in theory, but as evidenced by Darling's infamous milked free, you cannot assume they wont get a free just because you tackled correctly

True.

The WCE players have flip top heads, just like those old Oral B ads.

I'll look forward to your match report cimm.
Do you think we'll win?

Nope. 28!

Lock it in TCers. This is a big win for the Blues. :thanks:

Perhaps last night win (cats over the reigning premiers) puts our loss to them last week into clearer evolving context ? Lets wait and see..

Yes, yes I do. The most confident I've been this year.

Doesn't look like I'll be there though. Child commitments.

Can't help feeling confiident of a win for Carlton tonight. Maybe its just desire for a win.

We are closer to a win every week and we haven't been far off the pace in the last 3 rounds.

I think we have a bit of form, and just have to work tighter over 4 quarters tonight to get a win.

We play well at Subi.
Warnock to be a revelation.
Judd to break the shackles.
Jamo and Hendo to blanket Kennedy and Darling.
Our mosquito fleet to be the diffference.
Carrazzo to blanket Kerr.

Carlton by 11 points

I call upon all of you to look inside yourselves honestly and identify something, anything you can do differently to get Carlton over the line tonight. Try a different pair of socks, or sitting in a different chair, anything, because whatever we've been doing hasn't been working to date.

Last weekend I switched couches at three quarter time, and improve we did in the last quarter, but I am just one man and can't be entirely up to me any more. Once, when I was younger and stronger, I could have greater impact, but now I am old, and tired, and need everyone to pull their weight.

Come on!!

WOW that is pretty sad.

Brett Ratten's fingerprints all over it. Will never get a senior gig again. Out of his depth. Assistant coach only.
And we had him for almost two years more than Robert Walls who won us a flag and got us into another.
One of the most short sighted and damaging decisions ever made
BTW...MM may be another one of these decisions, but for now, I'm giving him a go
Should have kept Wayne Brittain

Contrast it with Geelong who had 8 players under the age of 23 in their first round win versus the Hawks.

Add Horlin-Smith who is having a blinder tonight, plus another talented batch in that age group that are developing nicely in the twos...

Excellent list management incorporating brilliant drafting and development...

They don't use their first/second rounders on has-beens and hacks in their mid twenties...

If Brett Ratten was out of his depth ... then who are we stuck with now ... Took him 10 years and 2 clubs to win his first premiership ... and 10 years to win his last. MM said he was happy with the list ... please don't start making excuses for him. He talks about defense ... as far as I can see ... we have gone way backwards in that area ... defense at stoppages is horrendous ... particularly when close to goal. We have a boring slow predictable game plan that allows plenty of time for clubs to clog up our forward line which most sides know how to combat (this was so obvious against Geelong) ... and an offense which relies on the ball being bombed in .... Talk about stone age tactics.

I hope we win in the West ... but I don't expect it ... I have far more confidence in Rob Wiley than MM. And certainly Ratten looked a far better coach even with the few seasons he had under his belt. I remember when MM joined Westcoast ... people were amazed because of the mess he had made at the Bullies. Well ... anyway ... lets stick with the MM 10 year plan. If he does it sooner ... I will be a very happy man.

Go Blues ... beat the Weagles ... PLEASE.

Mick made 5 grand finals with pies next

I hear you Verbs.
Tonite I will try some different swear words, and more praying.
Oh, don't forget the indigenous tribe leaders when you pray, and also be mindful of the direction you face, and handshakes.
I'd like to add, that if Tommi believes, then I'm a believer too.

Hey, can we press Yeller for Sellers?

Just saw last years game on FOXTEL - where we played like crap and only lost by 10 points, if we even get a 50/50 go from the maggots we might get within a kick.

BT is on commentating on 3AW in Melbourne today so unless he has a concorde out the back of the MCG he won't be calling tonights game.

3AWisfootball: Richmond President Gary March coming up on 3AW Footy. He joins BT, Richo, Lloydy, Leigh Matthews and Mike Sheahan. #afltigerspies

Should have gone hard for Mathews if that was the criteria. That bloke won all but one of his 5 grand finals.
