This is the thing that irks me the most now that I think about it. We were manhandled and intimidated by @#$%&! Essendon**! This is a team who at the best of times are soft and loose, and to compound it were missing quite a few key players, with others (ie Hurley) not doing much. So essentially, we were frightened by a bunch of fringe players, kids and squibs. This is the most aggravating thing.

Was talking to a colleague today who attended a 50th wedding anniversary in geelong on the saturday after the Pies game and he told of how he socialized with an Essendon** official who assured him to put his money on Essendon** because the club is certainly confident that they have the gameplan to beat us.

I've got a mate who commentates on AFL for ABC radio. The day after the 2012 Carlton v Essendon** early season match my mate (a big Carlton fan) was down at Bankstown commentating on a GWS match with David Parkin. He says Parko in the commentary box is a laid back guy, but on this particular day he was absolutely livid about the Carlton v Essendon** game. He claims Parko thought the way Essendon** set out to "brutalize" (Parkin's word) Carrazzo and Murphy bordered on cheating and couldn't believe the umpires let them get away with it.

Add Parkin as another one who was inadvertently onto the cheating Scum.
