Have the Bombers gone too tall with Hooker, Pears and Fletcher?

Hooker - Hampson/Kreuzer
Pears - Waite
Fletcher - ????

Fletcher will play loose man to try to counter our fast breaks, put your house on it.

Ratts took a while to adjust against Collingwood, but when he did we took control of the game again.

Well done to Brock for fighting his way back into the side, whatever you think of him, his endeavour cannot be questioned. Good luck to him, I hope he plays well and keeps the pressure on others to hold their spots in the team.

Old nytdog will be crying into his weeties after seeing Brock named in the side!!

That's 2 years in a row where he guaranteed there was no chance he would get another game for Carlton and would be delisted at the end of the year.

Third time lucky maybe? :smoking:

Yep - good luck, this is it Brocky and remember some of us never lost faith.
Take it by the throat and keep your spot!
Go Blues.

As for Fletcher - hehehehehehehe - he'll be too busy trying to run away from Robinson and keeping out of him way!!!!!

Essendon* second longest odds.

Can understand giving Dangles a rest, get him off that knee for a few days. Interesting choice going with Brock though as opposed to Ellard (or even JR coming back for that matter). His VFL form certainly has been impressive, but Brock these days seems to be in "AFL Purgatory", so it'll be interesting to see how he goes back at the top level. Perhaps they also want to release Juddy a little bit.

Thought Andy might've at least made the 2's this week.

Maybe one will play forward and they'll try and stretch our backline. We have no tall backmen remember.

They have seen how well it worked with JRoo/Vickery/Miller, and Cloke/Dawes/Wood that they are going to follow the same game plan.

Might even force us to actually leave Jamo down back for the whole game.

Intersting to see whether Courtney Dempsey will actually take his place in the side having been subbed off last week with an injury. Why they d risk him with another game just 4 days later is beyond me, but thats their problem..
Play to our strengths, and shut down the influence of Jobe, Ryder and Hurley and the game should be ours quite comfortably.
Good to see Ratts isnt taking the opposition lightly either...
