I would have thought Graham could have been picked for this game, by all reports he's been a ball magnet for Northen yet he can't even make it as an emergency, what's he doing wrong?

Kicking needs some work ?

We won't win because Judd is not playing. Remember when Judd flicked the switch in that final. He got us over the line.

Judd had a good 3rd quarter, but I reckon his impact on that game has been a bit overrated. I reckon Gibbs, Warnock & Waite were our most important players in that win. All playing tonight.

Overrated??? He flicked the switch

He stepped up as a leader and everyone followed. Who in our team tonight can lead?

There are going to be some sorry people on here tonight.

..nope, I agree with the others.. ..ruck dominance all game, Gibbs worked hard all game, Waite up fwd (how blind were those ups?!).. ..judd was on one leg, he got going after half time.. ..few leaders in game before then.. ..yes I believe Judd would have done better longer if fit, he lives for finals.. ..but his swan final was much more oppressive, and against real opposition..

..tuggers just don't handle Waite well.. ..years ago he smashed them across hb, now he does well against them fwd.. ..sure Betts used to do well against them, but jeffy does much better.. ..would be nice to have a fit krooz, some of his best matchs are against this lot, still a chance for Rowe t replace but I think at this stage it must be something full on for him to miss, but he aint right.. ..not smart, but shows how little mc believe in other players..

Need big games from Murphy, Gibbs and McLean tonight if the blues are going to win.

You would think the wet track will allow the big bodies of Bell, Curnow and Robinson to crash in.

Daisy back at the G will improve significantly on his effort against Port.

I agree Pew. However, I hope he comes in and does well. We need more young players standing up.

Gibbs was the man in that game. Judd was good in the 3rd, but he was probably our fourth or fifth best on the day.

Hopefully see some ingenuity from the Tigers tonight. Remember how we denigrated their 100th year on our banner last year?

Image

Surely now that we're in our 150th they'll put something up for a chuckle? I'd probably go with this...on the big screen.

Got a really bad feeling about tonight. This is almost a season defining game, and we all know how well our players deal with 'season defining games'.

Round 23 last year without Judd went pretty well.

Hang in there SF!

Tonight's all about work rate. If we work like we did in the first qtr against Port for 4 qtrs we will win and win well. If we continue to play part time AFL football we are in trouble. Simple as that IMO

Just a couple of quiet craft beers at home (incidentally, the Eel River IPA is exceptional). I still like the look of Carlton leading at every change. Paying $31.

Excellent conditions for the inside mids Carlton has.

No Jackson or Rance - key players for the Tigers.

Start Menzel on the ground

Carlton ruckman Matthew Kreuzer is set to miss Thursday night's game against Richmond, due to his ongoing foot problem.

Kreuzer will be a late withdrawal from the Blues' second-round side, with defender Matthew Watson also expected to miss the match.
