Saying that we want supporters to be heard and actually seeing evidence of it are two different things

And cazz attacking the man and not the issue is pretty much old boring news.

Why dont you come up with something new

Another one is the one thing constant is change

If we rely on the hands that have fed us for 40 years we are !@#$%&

What you want has to start somewhere Keogh. It is not going to magically happen. It is going to take belief by all. At some stage you are going to have to jump on board and just show blind faith the same way all those bogans on the edge of melbourne do with the Pies.
You will be suprised what can be achieved by everyone pulling in the same direction.

You can say that again...

That almost qualifies as a Freudian slip.

No, we went for the 'All New Elantra'. Thought about the i30, but took both for a spin down the highway and the Carlton scarf out the window just performed aerodynamically better in the Elantra than the i30.

i'm tossing up between an ix35 or a mazda cx-7 - thought my $1000 off for being a member would be a handy 'pro' for the ix35

nope - another interstate member shun - has to be bought from a victorian dealership

:donk:

Where does it say that? I love my Elantra, although my Carlton scarf on the back window needs upgrading. So do the number plates.

Follow it up. Pretty sure it doesn't matter where you live.

Hyundai sponsor us, not Hyundai Victoria. I'm sure the club would assist....I hope.

There are a few reasons why we are short of our 55000 to 60000 membership target.

change is a constant flow. There hasn't been enough of it a board level.

We still rely too heavily on the power of a few Cazz and that makes some supporters like myself not feel part of it.

We are not innovative enough.

The Pratts and Mathiesons money is great in one sense but in my view has a negative impact on the club in that its made the board lazy.

Ruffy being on the board is suss for a start.

Ruffy coming on these websites just before the AGM is suss

Blind Faith is something I only agree with when I put on that record

I am telling you how I feel about the club.

I personally want major change.

If Jeanie and Bruce want to tip in cash thats fine but I want them and their family members off the board and I want a real leader as President.

Carlton needs to change its old ways.

Why do the Pratt's, Mathierson's and the like need to be off the board?
What are the reason's behind this and what advantages do CFC get from such removals?
Why aren't people who are director's of multinational companies & experienced businessman not good enough to be on the CFC board and who then do we replace them with?

Just curious if anyone wants to answer these questions in a logical & sensible way.

I love that term "suss", and I can relate to that too, in spirit and essence.

Don't paint everyone with the same bruch.

I am an advocate for change, but I do not ignore the probability that the off spring of those you mention can give us, if you like, father-and - son feel about their rise up the ladder: our ladder preferably. The off spring may have, probably have had the best mentors, they've had the best schools, they might not be snobs either because they are their own person.....so lets give off spring, father & sons, and our children a chance to make their own Navy Blue path, and or statement....not matter who they're born to.

Born to be alive: Born to be a Blue.

That's my take on it...and should be the club's too...with a bit of a mention of the "old Darl Navy Blue. mmmmmmmm.

They're all Dark Navy Blues, and w should embrace them for that unless we know better, because we're making a comeback from a long long long way away.

Truth be known not one of us like this St Kilda feel about our hope for the future with the underlying curse of a looser mentality atm.

I'm an advocate from change from wherever it comes, just bring it on even if its under our noses like some thought Ratts was.

We're all in it together for No 17 and from there it will be easy again.

Just went on the website today to try and find out details of where to go tonight.

Nothing on the website anywhere. Even the e-calendar helpfully tells me that it's Chris Yarran and Dennis Armfield's birthday soon, but nothing about the AGM.

Same thing every year..
