IF we get past week 1 in the finals series, and happen to play the WC at Subi, we will over run them. The ground suits us better than Etihad where we played them last, and all the pressure will be on the home team after a first week loss to the filth. Get scoreboard pressure early and watch them crumble. WC have younger players and will not see through 4 quarters. Nothing in the last 6 weeks suggests WC are in ripping form. They're beating the teams they should. September is a different kettle of fish.

Lets just focus on getting through the St Kilda game unscathed from a personnel view point, and get over the team we end up playing in the finals first.

I'm not so worried about it being warm on the day we play them, but how much it would take out of us for the follow-up game.
Almost no chance of winning a Prelim after playing in a 22 deg day in Perth the week before.

a) It'll be a night game anyway.

b) We outran Hawthorn last night after a six day turnaround from Perth. Don't hold too many concerns there.

I'll take a 6 goal loss in a prelim vs Geelong at this stage. We're a fair way from that point

I would very much fancy our chances against the Eagles over there should we meet.

We should be able to to beat them.

I think this now summs it up. Can't argue with this now.

At the end of the day..it's just the end of the day.
Sound reason isn't everything, and given that sound reason tells us games are just as much won or lost above the shoulders..
we really don't know what will happen.

Anything can happen once the finals start.

surely we get preference over saints v Essendon* as we finished higher.

otherwise, using the attendance argument means collingwood v west coast goes to etihad.

You're forgetting the fact that Collingwood has its own set of rules, re clash jumpers, travel, fixturing, etc.

With Sydney up against Brisbane at the SCG odds on we will be playing Essendon* now.
