When I step back and look at what is being put together here I am genuinely excited by a list

This post gets a big tick.

It has been a horrible year but we are building a list that could become something special. I can see it. But it takes time. We have seen it with Geelong, Hawthorn (snagged an early one) and now Richmond. Years in the making before success finally came. All with a dash of luck along the way.

Midfielders (Rankine for mine) now the clear priority.

We've put together a decent young list, we've had players play good footy showing their potential. So, despite the injuries, and there's been a bad run, i'm not sure 1 win from 14 is anywhere near good enough given we won 13 the last two years, not to mention the times we led in the last qtr and lost last year. We'll see what happens the rest of the year. Not going to feel that happy with 1-21 if it ends up that way. That's a fair trip backwards.

But we could thank Essendon*.

Even beating Essendon* has lost its lustre since that was apparently the kick up the arse they needed to put them on the path to September. Everything about this season makes me sick.

Pity that loss will see them miss the 8

The sooner Bolton gets over trying to play like Hawthorn the better we will be.

The longer he continues to play like Hawthorn the closer he gets to being sacked.

We've got 8 months until round 1 2019. Do it now FFS.

I’ve given up on Bolton now.

I get injuries - I get youth - I get we’re rebuilding.

But this side has no awareness and we constantly hesitate. That comes from coaching and development.

If they sack Bolton then I'm done with signing up as a Carlton member for 2019 and beyond.

$500 says when we play in front of 100K at the G you'll be first in line. That won't happen under this joker.

I've got a full MCC membership so I don't really need a Carlton membership. I've got one because I want to support the club and I generally support the track they are taking in terms of coaching appointments, drafting.

And you think this is what success looks like? A 10 goal loss to a battler side after they've travelled back from WA.

Step down Bolts. This is the end buddy.

I’ve been a full member since 1998!

This is the first time I’ve questioned if it’s worth signing up next year. I’m just exhausted by the BS.

Bolton has shown nothing but excuses. Mind you he has a few mates in Barker etc.

It's frustrating to see our commitment to the game plan that has resulted in 1 win in 25 games. Surely you try something new.
