A "wait and see" approach is best. Give it a few months and see how people are doing, see how the country is doing... if things get dire football will just appear stupid.

I mean it is stupid. But we love it. I get that.

It's not like the AFL is blazing trails here... other codes have been cancelled globally. Why are we any different?
