Going on JLT Series where we were shocking, I am expecting a huge loss tonight.

I agree we might be to tall.

But they reckon one final is worth 10 games experience (Marcus Davies excepted), so playing in front of 70,000+ is gold for SPS, Macreadie, Marchbank and Pickett, and it won't do Charlie and Weitering any harm either.

Go Blues!!!!

Yep this game experience will be a unique for the youngsters playing at the home of AFL footy and in front of a monster crowd, a win would be an amazing result.
We won't get many this year so I hope this one of them, so important for the CFC.
Rammifications are massively important.

Excited to see SPS tonight too!

More than likely sipping something refreshing tonight on his balcony at Binalong Bay on Tassie's east coast during the game.

I see about an eight goal difference between the teams. Richmond by -/+ 48 points.

Please blues make this be an upset...

Win, lose or draw just wanna see some excitement out there and for us to give them a run for their money...

The midfield is the only area they appear clearly stronger to me if we hold our own there and we chip away we could be in for half a chance

A little optimistic of me I guess!

Good pick up - best on ground too perhaps.

And unfortunately, it was probably his best ever game.

Bit harsh Moshe. I ventured over from Tassie to watch him play a few times and was pretty handy.

How good would it be if all the kids tear it up tonight?

Just to see David King and Monga have to explain it would be worth priceless. :smoking:

It's going to be exciting just seeing the new faces and the other kids stepping up. Youthful exuberance has no limits, who knows.

agree with Moshe it was probably his best game but hey so was Brett Lees first test his best game and he went on to be more than serviceable as a test player - Tony was a good senior player without being a star but IMHO agree with Taff was a handy player for the Blues

As much as I'm sick to death of honourable loses, some excitement for the kids would ease the frustration. So much better than a side stacked with hacks and rejects.

We are too tall with not enough run. Kerridge and Palmer should be in that side. How does Lamb get a game being a half forward who can't find the footy? SOS very lucky because on form he should start the season in the seconds. I love the kid but it's OK to play in the VFL and build confidence and form.

For mine it should be:

OUT: Lamb, SOS
IN: Kerridge Palmer

With Kerridge out of the side we've instantly denied Richmond 2-3 turnover goals.

The midfield? Our midfield stacks up just fine against theirs, at least at the top end. They probably bat a little deeper but Cripps, murph, Gibbs, curnow stack up pretty well.

It's our forward line that I'm worried about
