I get the feel that the problems are not exclusively the coach, and some of the players selected by SOS are conditional types that wont make the cut and will have to go. I think there's going to be a lot cut loose at years end. Posted probable names elsewhere. Some obvious papers stamped: Murphy Eddie Levi Marchy Gibbons. The latter 3 are injured and or lame. Doubt Fish and SPS will be with us. Part of a Cerra Deal? Haven't heard Cerra's name mentioned other than the crap on SEN fake news.

I'd like to see SPS and Fisher combined in a trade for a talented Victorian at a WA club to come home.

Me too.

Bring it on....might even get some change out of that.

I can't see us getting a 3nd rounder for SPS or Fisher, despite Dermot suggesting Fisher could be an AA HFF.

We should have done it!!!

Why did we turn up our noses to that one. We'll never know.

I admire Walshy's loyalty. Also provokes thought.

Some of his comments lack balance, but then again tht can apply to me and a lot of others on footy sites all over the land.

Keep posting Walshy. I don't think you're right that we can create a uber attacking team and kick more goals than everyone, but I like that we can kick goals, but winning games is what its all about....ask my kids....they want to win a few if they lose a few...not lose most of the time since they were born.

You seem like a ripping bloke Bondi...positive, measured, egalatarian in nature..you have the patience of Jobe with Walsh's bombast. All power to you

IMO, we can't sit back and let it this rut of leaking goals and 1 quarter capitualtions, keep happening.

If we do, our Board is doing it because it wants to avoid the reputation as being a club that sacks all their coaches.
We used to sack premiership coaches. FFs.
This century, right from the first real coaching handover with Parkin handing the reigns to a team that was past its best, our Board has sacked unproven green coaches or burnt out coaches, chasing their super. So what.

We have to get better, layer by layer.

Have you heard anyone in the media mention we are decimated by injury, and have 17 injured?
Neither have I. But the Board has to look beyond that.
The 5 goal run of goald against us aka "Teagues Gift" has been going for 2 years, not just this week, or last, or last.
Its beyond that.
I feel sorry about the coaching situation. I think we did well to recruit Teague. Quality man, quality coach.
AFL Head Coach is a big gig.

I really hope the team shows something this Friday in prime time, for themselves and for their coach, because I'm sure there's lots of heads on the chopping blocks.

While I've avoided any football coverage/shows this week (@#$%&! you North) I did catch a mention of our long injury list on Ch7 News the other night.

The other day he talked about the mindset he was in after losing his brother and brother in law I think it was, mud 80's, and I couldn't help but feel he was reaching out to the Blues re what happened to Aitken..

Just a hunch.

You are kidding yourself.

How do you explain all the anti carlton crap since...like foecing Fevola to be stuck on 99 with for opponets on him in the last.

He hates carlton with a passion.

The crap he has heard since the battle of Britain till he got the coaching job and since then... he wants to hurt us...and he will financially by taking our money and wasting our time during his tenure...then he laughs all the way to the bank and retire on his farm.

Can't trust the prick of a Coward Puncher.
