Get with the program.
Its all about cohesion and synergy. How in the hell are you supposed to achieve that by turning over 14 players a year

Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

So which players would you have kept to keep this cohesion?
KJ Holman Gowers and Buckley to start with
I would have also kept Palmer and Smedt Boakhurst White

None of them world beaters
But neither is Shaw Mullet Oshea and Garlett and Lobbe

Sent from my SM-G900I using Tapatalk

Really? You reckon we’d be better off with that swag of list cloggers? And I wanted KJ and Boek to work as much as the next guy but they didn’t and they wouldn’t.

If we’d kept that bunch we’d be in just as much poo and I dare say you’d be demanding all of their heads plus the heads of those who kept them on.[/quote]List cloggers are list cloggers
What's the point in changing like for like

As I said if it is all about cohesion and synergy how do you achieve that by changing out 6 to 8 list cloggers per year and replacing them with other list cloggers.
They keep stating they are rebuilding through the draft but have only had 1 additional pick over and above the AFL average. The rest has been trying to find diamonds in the rough

We’ve drafted 24 players in the last 3 years by my count.

I'd rather trade Pick 17 for Marchbank than take Pick 17 in the Draft.

You need to consider the fact there's selections that clubs dream of that trump the Draft.

Marchbank is not a recycled player. A Delisted player or DFA is recycled. The rest are targets.

You read too much Herald Sun. They call Marchbank (pick 17), Plowman, Kennedy, Lang, Picket recycled when they were 'wanted' players by their team but chose to go to Carlton.

What's your argument? Smedts vs OShea? Palmer vs Mullet? White vs Lobbe? Buckley vs Garlett pick 78)?

You just seem anti Carlton to me. Enjoy

So what?

I'd prefer to focus on the definition of the word 'recycled'.
The Herald Sun's dispariging version is not correct use of the term 'recycled'.

Name them and discuss the virtues and failings of each individual.

Then we can decide if that's good thing or a bad thing you are alluding to.

Rookie draft and pre-season draft. If we count rookies towards the list turnover count, probably fair to count them in the drafted players total also.

Bolts must be laughing. Looking at another two years or a big payout.
That's a rebuild!

You could give this coaching group the first 18 picks in the draft but as long as my arse points to the ground they will never be any good.
I have never seen so many clueless players running around at the one time.
How can you turn so much talent into such a rabble

Every team in the league plays 16 midfielders and 6 talks

We play 10 Talls 6 small and 6 midfielders
It won’t work EVER
