Our club is a proud club and has one of the most successful histories of all clubs in the AFL. However, as we know from these past few years, this history gives us no mandate for future success. We need to hold on to the old, but embrace the new if our club is to be successful for the future. That is why we should consider all options for jumper designs, despite what our history may say.

The above statement in no way looks like a joke to me; if anything; it's inflammatory.

Perhaps if there had been a :-D or a  or even a  I might've thought that for some reason you were joking.....but you didn't......

I'm still waiting for the joke to appear so that I can start laughing.

I think you're the person who needs to lighten up with your orange jumper obsession......get over it!

Yeah, but how do you think Walks would like to wear that one? Perhaps we put each players' picture on their own jumper. Let's show them doing something good like a good tackle, a nice pass, a screamer (in Walks case) or a slick goal.

Camel, I noted that Brisbane's alternate jumper that they used tonight against St. Kilda is using the rich gold colour, that I was getting you to produce, as its base. I am kind of over that colour now and am going back to the original pure gold colour that you did earlier for me and then enhanced with the navy blue sashes at the side.

Really like the one on the left...Keeps our traditional colours and looks great! 8)...Just looks a bit off-centre though (i know it's probably the desired effect)

Italian styles, can you please take the one on the right and instead of two navy hoops around the monogram, just make it one thick navy hoop around the monogram with the rest white.

I think I'd like that, I;d like to see how it looks.

The alternate should be navy and white please (obviously predominantly white to avoid clash).

The proposals of gold and silver and yellow are colours that have nothing to do with our beloved CFC.

Predominant white can work - Leeds, Real Madrid, Bolton etc. etc.

I think the use of gold (not yellow) is a viable one, as the colour isn't associated with any other club. The satiny nature of today's jerseys makes me think it would be possible to get a metalic affect from the material.

Importantly whatever colour is chosen to offset the darkness of our traditional jumper, we are gonna have to put up with knob-shiners like dwayne russell making rib-tickling asides about the blues being more of a shade of orange - centimetre perfect dwayno. In this instance I'd rather be known as the golden blues than anything else.

Just another thought...

Remember that we may be waiting a very long time to play a grand final, and when we get there, we could have to wear a clash jumper.
If that day comes, by god I want us to be wearig navy and white. That's why I don;t want other colours.

Remember, we may one day play a granny in this top - keep it "Carlton-looking" - no gold, yellow, pink green whatever.

I'd have us wear pink with purple polka dots - if we made a grand final I wouldn't give a toss.

"And carlton are releasing a golden shower of goals here at the dome..."

just thought I'd get in before Dennis Commetti did.

Wouldn't it be great if they could produce a jumper in exactly the same 'shade' of silver than the premiership cup!!

We have more right to that colour than any other club, could be a good way to 'market' the colour to the fans as well.
