i reckon every weekend.. every clubs supporters blog on a bout how they were crucified by umpires.. thats all 18 teams

Probably took 2 or 3 hits but umpiring isnt easy

That is the truth. Impossible to umpire perfectly.

I look at a bad decision against carlton as bad luck. It is all just luck of the draw. Like the bounce of the oval ball.
Best aim to be a four goal better team than your opponent to allow for bad luck.

The AFL website tells me I'm not in Australia so I can't access that content. :hitcomputer:

To watch the replay though the App you need to pay for premium access. :banghead:

Is there a worse website on the internet?

Best way I can get a replay is to read the commentary on here, Big Footy or the AFL match centre. in 2000 and !@#$%& 13!!

Yib - since you are listed as being in East Perth WA is the AFL website infact correct?

It didn't determine the game. We won.
But it certainly changed all the momentum in the third quarter and made the game a lot closer than it should have been.

Need to learn to;

1. Dive forward or bend the knees and drop forward when tackled.
2. Bend the head into a tackle.
3. Make contact with our legs to a player diving on the ball
4. Do not dive in for the ball
5. Dive forward when going for a mark once you receive contact from behind, no matter how little.
6. Just whinge at the every opportunity

Just the little things that count.

And a couple of years ago we were first and I got howled down for pointing it out.

I wonder if we could sell half a dozen home games a year to WA? I'd much rather watch Yaz and Jeff run riot at Subi from my couch, than sit at docklands and watch them get bottled up.

That's gold John! We do seem to love the expanses of Subi and we seem to draw as much of a Blues crowd there as we do the docklands :)

Pretty much. It's an area we're in danger of being left behind in, and needs to be incorporated into our training sessions.

Maybe we should target Wanganeen in the off-season?

I was impressed with the fact that we didn't give away too many free kicks. I noticed that when we tackled we were very conscious not to tackle above the chest, not to push forward into the back of the opposition and not to slide into legs. I think alot of our tackles I saw were us pinning a player from behind then pulling them backwards, so that they fell on their backs. Much improved and disciplined I thought.

Warnock and Hammer were superb against Cox.

No injuries which is good, but I'm surprised nobody has brought up how much we are damaging opposition sides; Jolly cracked ribs, Maxwell broken somethingorother, Glass dislocated shoulder, Varcoe dislocated shoulder..... although Betts broken jaw and Kruze broken thumb is no good.

I counted 9 of the 23 Eagles behinds as rushed. So Woosha wanting 1/2 of those as goals is just stupid.
He knows he's under the pump and he let it show. 3 losses at home and the only win came against East Burwood.
He didnt say anything about the 3rd 1/4 goals coming from outside 50 inc Kerr's which was a 1/10 chance.

The thing that gets me with umpiring is they fall for the same shit from the same players over and over again....

I think his biggest issue was that we were limited to about 40 inside 50's which should mean a win for them.

Let him petition the AFL to change the way we score games them. Team with most I50s win. :screwy:
I understand what he is saying. But few people watching that game would say the Eagles were unlucky to lose.

So true, just emphasises how much better we are on the bigger grounds.

Can't wait to play Freo there, too.
