That was before 2011

Round 1: Morton
Round 2: Doesn't really count
Round 3: Blair
Round 4: Hooker
Round 5: Johncock (not a dud, but not the player he was)
Round 6: McVeigh (again, not a dud, but ALWAYS has a field day against us)

We're not past that shite yet

Yeh, we don't want the Volt to kick 9 straight agains us like he did a few years ago.

Hope Milne doesn't chop us up also

White rolled his ankle in the second half last week. T-Bird probabkly a better match up for Kosi anyway.

I hear what you are saying, taking two guys out of a defence that was starting to get a little bit of cohesion going is a bit of a worry. But match ups are important and need an extra small prob AJ for laidler to take on Milne and saints smaller forward line.

That's the Vibe!

The Saints don't have a really small forward line if Gilbert goes down there. I like the balance we've had the last few weeks, just feel we'd be better off with one more taller defender tonight. Hopefully we smash them in the midfield and our forwards keep the ball down there so it doesn't matter.

If StKilda has it's way tonight it will be one of the ugliest's games of football in AFL history.

Don't think their team has it in them to contain our runners if they go with that approach.

T-Bird definitely playing !!

Will play in defence.

Gives the side another tall and some flexibility.

Only issue is he has played most of the year up forward.

Let's hope the boys that run out there tonight have a better mindset then many on here.

WTF are we so worried about them for? How are they gonna stop our midfield? Who's gonna stop Garlett? Warnock will win the ruck. Every team has players that need to be watched/controlled but overall we're playing much better footy.

If we're ever going to be a force in this comp again we have to win games like tonights. You can't be a top 4 team unless you win these games.

Must kick well for goal and if we do I think we'll win in a canter and it'll set us up for a great year.

Blues by 30

What a great opportunity it is for our boys to make a statement that we belong in the top half of the 8. They showed so much character over the past two weeks and now it is time to follow that up with a strong, dominant effort over a struggling opposition.
Looking forward to tonight.
Go Blues!

Spot on, this is the one we need to win to make a statement. In years gone past we would lose this one

People get too caught up with size.

If we apply the right kind of pressure further afield we could play Joseph on Kosi or Gilbert.

A defenders most important role is to provide run and clean disposal to set up play for our midfield and forwards.
