Essendon**** have serious coaching panel depth and as much as I hate those pricks, all of Rutten Caracalla Gia etc are highly rated. We need depth of line coaches who could easily step up to senior coach in their own right but also take ownership of the group of players assigned to them.

Sounds good, JK. Any names you’re keen on?

Plenty of highly rated names around the industry, just have to find the right mix and balance.

Dean Cox
Daniel Giansiracusa
Jaymie Graham
Adam Yze
Chris Newman
Scott Burns
Stevie J
Matthew Boyd
Nigel Lappin
Adam Kingsley

Then ex-senior coaches like Pyke, Scott, Lyon, Leppitsch etc if interested.

You can add Montgomery and Schofield from Port Adelaide.

I 100% agree also.
We need a full coaching rebuild, starting with a new head coach and the team he wants around him that will help his game plan.
Hopefully after the review this is the course of action taken.
But it needs to start after the last round of the season at the latest so the new team are ready for the draft and trade table.

Gee wiz! DT really looked enthusiastic about this weekend in his press conference today.

Looked like he had been told his services were no longer needed.

I actually thought about watching paint dry after seeing his presser today.

These words that I’m writing don’t excite me for one second.

I’m so sick of this club appearing so mediocre and directionless.

Show some excitement and sell this team, DT.

Right now it feels like the club will be lucky to attract 10,000 supporters this weekend, let alone 50,000.

So much doom and gloom in the world this minute.

Kind of feels that way at this club too.

If we win games you won’t care how monotone he is.

If we lose you won’t care how well he speaks.

Smiles and high fives within hours of learning about the death of a club legend?

Maybe a click of the heels as he walks past Jack in the corridor?

DT definitely needs to show some more life and passion. He’s so uninspiring I can’t imagine what he’s like to play for. I feel like this guy

I don’t really care about whether he is benign or not in pressers etc I’m more concerned about his match day tactics and his planning over preseason

Big test for him Sunday -no excuses show he has learnt from last time show he hasn’t got a one dimensional game plan

If and it is a big if we had turned up in a couple of matches we would be in the 8 as teams 7 and 8 are fairly poor and those 9-12 are not much better than us
Turn up against Collingwood first time
Turn up against WC and GWS and we would be in
Sad indictment on team and coach

No more excuses turn up and win

Not a fan of Teague as pretty clear but to be fair wasn’t Ratts criticized for being too emotional, too passionate, too reactionary and being a fan-boi?

More toxic selection bias...it IS the latter...he cannot pack his bags soon enough for my liking...has been a fraud from the start...not his fault...our incompetent board fell for the hype and appointed him
