Have auto tipped this about a hundred times and we make the finals every time on either 13 or 14 wins.

Yes it is clearly not based on our recent form

Imagine going into the last round needing to beat Collingwood, winning. and still missing out.

Imagine if they need to win for top 4 & we need to win for the 8, & we lose. I think I'd put myself back into lockdown for a year

Recent form suggests we win two of our last 3 games....

Keep the WLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLLWLWLWLWL shit going

Would unfortunately mean a first round finals exit on that trend though

Dogs and tiggers playing non top 8 sides in final 3 rounds other than dogs playing a spluttering Freo at marvel. If they both win them all we'll likely need to win 2 out of 3.

Port currently favourites to beat Richmond next week (in Adelaide). Grimes out with a hammy a bonus.
But yes I expect the Dogs to win all 3 of their remaining matches.

With 3 to play it would be nice to win in Brisbane with Cats (v Saints) and Port (v Tigers) doing us a favour and winning their respective games at home.
It would be nice for Freo to beat the Dogs (who probably have the easiest run home) but can't see it happening at Marvel.
Saints have as hard a run as us but 2 are on their home deck (they love Marvel).

6th - FREMANTLE (50) - Bulldogs (Marvel), Eagles (Optus), GWS (Giants)
7th - CARLTON (48) - Lions (Gabba), Demons (away G), Pies (home G)
8th - SAINTS (44) - Cats (GMHBA), Lions (Marvel), Swans (Marvel)
9th - TIGERS (42) - Port (Adelaide), Hawks (G), Bombers (away G)
10th - BULLDOGS (40) - Freo (Marvel), GWS (Marvel), Hawks (Tasmania)
11th - G.COAST (36) - Probably out of it

We could lose all 3 but so could Saints and Tigers .... but if they win all 3 or 2 or even 1 in Saints case then we're in the poo!!
Another scenario .... We win 1 and Saints win 2, Tigers win 3 and Bulldogs win 3 then we finish 10th.
We'll know more this time next week.
Lots of probabilities etc etc but in the end it's best we achieve this Finals appearance on our own. The pressure is on.

Be great if port did us a favour. Surprised that they're favourites but a win certainly wouldn't shock.

They almost beat the Cats in Adelaide a couple of weeks ago.

I feel like I've been relying on them most of the season and they've [REDACTED] it.

Not nececelery. the bye after the final H & A game is the L, and we start with a win after that.

Its all happened since the bye, well the Pies game before the bye.

For some reason sportsbet has us at $1.14 and dogs $2

I'm looking at Essendon* v. Richmond in the last round, now THAT would be hilarious.

Could be a situation where we'd need to build filth by 50+ to go past dogs on % to get in.

The equation is simple.

Win 2 games, we're in.

Win 1 game, the dogs/Richmond need to lose one. We're in.

Hopefully freo and/or port can do us a favour this week.

How about turning up ready to play and don’t be frighten like an immature team and just maybe we will win like a good team should
No excuses you put yourself in a situation where you comfortably should have made the 8 and the last 8 or 9 weeks have sought to shoot yourself in the foot by not playing consistent professional football with this win/loss bs
In the last 3 weeks you can show your fans that you really want it or mean it or you can like seasons past slink off and fall by the wayside again disappointing your legion of loyal fans
Do it for god sake we are sick of waiting

SEN were discussing the final 8 today.
They mentioned that even if Carlton win a game it may not be enough.
What a shame we have put ourselves in this position to rely on other teams losing if we cannot win the required number of games.
Disappointing end to a good season if we miss out after being in the top 8 all year.
