Not usually Mikkey, but it's settled in.

If it keeps like this it will be like the last two WAFL grand finals, both lost by the WCE recerves club EAST Perth.

Each time the WCE reserves were beaten by a side that attacked the contest harder and just kept smashing bodies.

WCE have some very physically suspect players in Masten, Gaff, Lucas, Yeo and Wellingham.

I realize we are hardly Spartan like in our efforts but, if it keeps raining, Ellard and Armfield would be good additions.

Who do you think are the tough nuts at Carlton who will do this smashing in.

Am surprised Boekhorst is not pushing for selection. Mature age, first pick should be close and playing well. Plus, his speed was a big factor. And he is West Australian so should be the perfect place for his debut, if form warranted - which it should!

Starting to get a bit worried re. this guy.
Sacrificed a first round pick for him.
Recruited for his zip, and mature body.
Our side is in dire need of run, and he still cant crack a game.

It should be Cripps, but to achieve that he'd need to be played in the guts. Let's see.

Hilarious - we are definitely no Spartan-like team!

However, we do have players who don't mind crashing in (at least to get the ball, if not ):
- Bell
- Judd
- Murphy (yes, I know what some think but I have never seen him shirk a contest and he has been smashed a few times going in hard)
- Casboult (crashes packs)
- Simpson (albeit with no effect on opposition players, poor thing weighs about as much as a mosquito!)
- Gibbs - depending on which Gibbs (he has been pretty good past couple of years... - he just looks smoother than most doing it)
- Touhy
- Rowe
- White
- Clem Smith already looks like he doesn't mind it
- Buckley (but also a bit of an insect-weight)
- Tutt looks like a goer

Of course, we still have some noticeably gentle types: Warnock, Yarran, Menzel come to mind.

The worst part is that I think we have a reputation of being soft - whereas no-one would dare to test out Hawthorn, Geelong, Freo, Sydney physically.

I acknowledged our shortcomings in this.

Just telling you how the games have been played recently and how WCE listed players have handled it.

You wouldn't back us to beat anyone based on last week's form.

It's a new week, another chance etc, but the opposition are in the same boat as us and they desperately need to win at home.

Don't dwell on who won't be playing, focus on who is playing....

The Eagles don't look like world beaters, but make no mistake, they won't roll over easily and they still have some very good players, including the reigning Brownlow medalist and a couple of forwards capable of making a mess of us.

Cripps sub? He's fit to play 80% game time; same can't be said of Carrazzo, Murphy, Gibbs, Judd and Simpson. I think one of those names should be the sub... perhaps Gibbs?

 Gibbs as sub! Good one jimmae!

Not the way we use the sub currently no. Sub off someone at the half, bring Gibbs on.

Run it as a rotational thing?

Look the Eagles and the Bullies both played well last week. It was a much higher standard than our match ... so I am not sure why people think the Weagles are so crap. Even with players missing they moved the ball very fast down the centre corridor ... Kennedy and Le Cras looked very dangerous. Their on-ballers got lots of possessions. Hurn was great in defence. And then when you consider Nic Nat is only going to improve this week and that we are playing in Perth ... I am feeling rather pessimistic ... or maybe its realistic.

We are going have to change our game style a bit to beat them otherwise they will rip us down the centre. Our mids must get some form back and our forwards must start marking. I hope Levi gets a game and that he finds some form. Likewise Buckley. None of this haphazard bombing into the forward line please. MOVE THE BALL FAST ... no stop start crap.

Come on Madhouse ... DO SOMETHING.

Go figure?

Does not make any sense. I hope they are right. I reckon they feel bad about being beaten by such a lowly team ... but really the Bullies have improved and played very well.

Maybe the Eagles are Crap and I am just so used to the low standard we set. The speed of their ball movement really impressed me ... !

Actually Levi would probably be better for us in the wet. I'd dump Jones.

Na ... the Madhouse won't dump Jones. Reckon Jones will be next to useless tomorrow night.

And according to Andrejs, we played both of them last week.
