They have Riewoldt/Vickery as tall forwards plus Griffiths who may play forward/ruck with Hampson forward/ruck.

Lucas sub - start Menzel!

Interesting that none of Graham, Casboult or Scotland named as emergencies.

Are they really that far away from selection and with a bye this week for NB's hard to see them back anytime soon.

Interesting. Going for maturity [Lucas] over youth [Buckley]. White ~ McInnes.

Looking forward to it with terror.

Whatever we think of Lucas, at least he has regularly had 20 plus touches at this level and his better games have been at the G. Bucks has some upside, but he struggles to get 20 touches at VFL level, so I'm all for letting him earn his place with more consistent performances in the VFL before he comes in. Graham is way ahead of him based on his VFL form, so the pressure is on Bell to get his mojo back in this game.

Vickery seems to struggle with smaller players who can play "tall", hence why White could be useful for this task if Watto is under the pump. I remember Laidley in Rd 1 2012 taking him to the cleaners, before his knee gave way again a few games later.

Hendo and Waite could create havoc as their back talls are nothing special, so I hope Hendo stays forward.

It's Richmond, so we're a chance.

I hope Graham and Casboult aren't going to get the Laidler treatment.

What more does graham have to do???
30 odd touches in each game in the last few weeks...
Bell, McLean, Robinson and ellard are all flying...
White and Lucas are ok inclusions.
Let me guess, our number 1 play maker is going to be playing a
shut down role again.. Good move mick, perfect role for yarran!!!
After all jetta and Cyril play those roles so well!!!!!! Joke..

Watson on Vickery should be good

Rowe (in for Kreuzer) on Griffiths/Hammer, Jamo on Riewoldt and Watson on Vickery?

Levi not an emergency tells me Mick's determined to keep Hendo forward as much as possible this year.

MM presser there were a few still sore.
Buckley, Cachia, Rowe as EMG - maybe Lucas a rouse or he has recovered well from 4qtrs on Sat. You'd think sub if he does play.
Rowe for Kreuzer if he's not going to make it up for the game.

Are we worried that Simmo might be in doubt? Reported to have trained away from main group. Buckley to take his place?

Cant have 6 emergencies

I'm guessing

Buckley if Simmo is sore
Rowe if Kreuzer doesnt make it
Cachia because hes ahead of those you mention....for a role...probably run with....that's why Cripps isnt an emergency ??????

Confident

Carlton 4 goals

I like Lucas as sub to put after burners on when everyone else tires,

If its wet Kruzer in the middle, if it is dry then Warnock to beat Hammer.

Curnow to cover Cotchin

I actually like the brute strength we have in Robbo and Bell if its wet.

That's another thing I like about Carlton...I look forward to seeing them play any day or night including Good Friday.

Come on Bluebaggers...cant wait.

Most of our mids are run with. Where is the drive coming from.

Bell, Robbo? Hope but don't think so.

The game will be won or lost on the backs of two players who can consistently win and use the ball to our advantage. Murph and Daisy.
