This low and hard rule is ridiculous. A GWS player won the ball on his knees and was trying to move it forward but touched the oncoming player.

Erase the 1st half vs GWS and it's hard to find many negatives from today (in the context of NAB Cup practice matches, learning new game style etc).

First of all, no injuries. :thanks:

The performance of our big men was the other most pleasing thing - Hammer, Casboult & Rowe were all aggressive and had good hands. Their kicking ranged from very good to bad, but after half time the way they made a contest and brought the ball to ground must have brought smiles to the faces of Betts, Garlett & Walker (not to mention MM).

At the other end, Jamo looked in excellent form. Watson was disappointing and McCarthy has a way to go (but we knew that already). Hard to tell much about Hendo today, but it was good just to see him out on the park.

Lucas, Bell & Ellard did their prospects for senior selection no harm whatsoever.

Obviously still a lot of work to be done, but some decent signs....

Just left stadium very flat atmosphere piss poor crowd .
Big boys big targets up front seemed the order of the day and all 3 did well
Murph gibbs maclean just going through the motions
Jamo brilliant in the seans game

Turned it on half throw gws game and didnt look back
Thought dale handled himself well

2 from 2 good enough

That is the worst rule going around, :banghead: :banghead: Please tell me it is only for the NAB Cup and not for the season proper

Did anybody else watch it on the AFL TV stream? Mine was a series of stills punctuated by two second bursts of live action.

The picture was not of a high standard but the stream didn't break up. Might have been some sort of bottleneck at your end.

Maybe at the Oz end. I did two ping tests one to the USA and one to Sydney. The US one was 168 The Sydney one was 294. Both are shite. My live stream of the cricket from India is working fine. Not even a pause.

Thanks for the comment.

nice of the AFL to give us some real marquee games...

Freo next week then adelaide over in shitsville.

Any danger of giving us a decent opponent at Princes Park and packing what's left of the joint out?
