Mark Arceri to come in and kick our only goal. Domenic Fotia-Carlton's best ever number 2- to replace Juddy in the engine room.

Absolutely fantastic

So hendo got through one game.

Didn't McKay say there was no issue with kruez?

Pack your gear with you next week MPH, you might get a run.

6 in's if Jospeh misses. Will be interested to see which of the new boys get a run as well as which of the unwashed get recalled - ie Russell, Thornton, Bower, Ellard.

If Thornton couldn't get a game last week, it would probably make even less sense if he now gets a go.

Either he has a line through his name or he doesn't. If he does suddenly play Synbad could refer it being not a full line through the name, but a partial line through the name...kind of..

They obviously thought highly of Diesel to give him Dom's old number

collins mitchell betts
kreuzer murphy carrazzo
mclean armfield curnow dale[sub]
out's; joseph, judd, walker
in's; mitchell, dale, touhy

will not happen, but as the season is over, i hope that dale gets a chance, likewise mitchell.
mitchell does not have to kick 3 or 4[although it would be nice], just get a few games into him.
rapt that mcInnes, collins and watson continue to play good footy.
lucas needs to play the last 7 games, not as sub, just give the kid some confidence.
just my thoughts

I 100% agree with this.

Why would you tag Boyd? He will get it 35 times and turn it over 10+. He'll get around 10 clearances but they will be Nick Maxwell "throw it onto the boot without looking" style clearances. I'd love to see Boyd play a sacrificial negating game every week like the job he did on Judd last year - we would be a far more effective team if we did.

Griffen is the only player anybody bothers to tag in our team. Even Dahlhaus is getting close attention now, but Boyd hardly ever does because the opposition love seeing the ball in his hands and not Griffen's.

I know Carlton is struggling at the moment, but we are GWS standard right now. We have no skill, we are one-paced, we move the ball at a snail's pace, we have no tall forwards of note, we have no small forwards to pressure the opposition defensive rebounders, we have a game plan that makes it impossible for us to score and easy for the opposition to score against us. In short, we are garbage. I couldn't care less about the result this weekend or for the rest of the year. I'm just looking forward to the day when Smorgon retires, Garlick is replaced and Fantasia has his arse kicked out of the kennel for good. Only then will we start to improve on and off the field.

Shivers and I thought we were the only fans who wanted our President, CEO and Recruitment Manager out

Mitchell won't play this year and definitely not in the ruck. He's played approx. 5 games in three years.

Casboult is more mature and ready for senior footy and that isn't saying much. If Kruezer's injured he is the only choice.

"Luke Mitchell had played four VFL games in his two years at our football club and we asked permission for him to play VFL twos last week and was knocked back, so he didn't even play a game," he said.

"Luke might have been close [to senior selection] this week, but on the back of that we can't even contemplate selecting him.

"It's an awkward system that we keep scratching our heads about. He has played four VFL games in his whole two years in the AFL system and he is knocked back about playing football in a development system. It's something we still don't understand

There are strong rumours Kreuzer will be unavailable for Saturday night's clash against the Bulldogs, along with Lachie Henderson and Kane Lucas.

Blues coach Brett Ratten yesterday lamented his thin playing stocks, saying Jarrad Waite was ready to return but that was likely to be in the VFL.
