I'm tipping Bruce has a lot on his plate already without taking a(nother) position at the club.

Craig is his representative....

We didnt tell you but he was elected.
You wouldnt have a clue over there in Perth because the current board members changed it so you cant get involved,,,,

Hallelujah! :thanks:

This is the bloke we needed to come out and say this. He's the one the club HAS to listen to, because they know how important he is and how flowered we would be without him.
And, like Synners said, he hasn't have done it lightly. He would have explored other avenues first ... but it seems no-one at Royal Parade was listening - or didn't like what they were hearing and, like everything else, just hoped it would go away.
We can take great heart from this - because the wheels are in motion. Bruce has a plan.

Ratts is gone. Has been for awhile. He's lost the players and the industry knows it.
But it is now a matter of how much other change can be driven through the club. We just can't afford to flower it up this time.
How many lives can a footy club have?
Sticks and his mates are slowly realising they won't get away with replacing Ratts and, you beauty, it's off to the boardroom we go. Powerful people who care about the club, members, fans and the media won't let them gloss over the massive problems at the club. There has to be significant change.

Like us, Bruce wants his club back. He wants bang for his buck. Like us, he's embarrassed. We're a laughing stock again.
The industry is having a field day mocking us and picking us apart. Giggling at our ineptitude and at how Sticks tells everyone things will be alright - there's still nine rounds to go!!!!
FMD! Least now we're still a mathematical chance. :yikes: Won't be soon the way we are going. What then Pres?

Bring it on Bruce ... because if we get the right people in place things can be turned around quickly, on the field especially.

Hey mate!
Its been Easter for ages at my place!
Things for me have been great, well outside football.

You would have to be up and about at the moment with the possibility of all your review dreams coming true?

My take... Off Field... I am all for a review. But as mentioned before.... Who is going to perform such a review?
Membership definitely needs a shake up.
I don't know about this recruitment business... so i'll leave that to the experts.

On field, we don't bat that deep.
But get a few back and our run home isn't too bad.
I have us finishing 6th.

Happy un-orthodox easter to you then.

So what youre saying is were going pretty well????

Youve been saying this all along... we should have listened!!!!

We dont bat deep!!
You want a review!!!

Ok a review means youre abit concerned about the people and the practices around the club... or just do it cos Bruce said so????

Interested.......

See even if you by chance we just make the 8, I dont think this should excuse of save Ratten. His gameplan is flawed and even in the last few years should have done better. With a good coach and the players on the park - imagine what we would do then.

If we make the 8 this year, which I doubt, it would be by beating teams below or around us on the ladder, and this is exactly how we have operated in the last few years.

We still dont beat top 4 teams, or win hard fought out contests.

Synbad.

We are not going well, but I think we can improve.

Are you patting yourself on the back?

Who is going to perform this review?

Also as I said at the time, a periodic review is always a good idea.

It would be funny though if we did scrape into 8th, play the Bummers in another elim final and pants them again.

That'd be great - but in the greater scheme of things, it doesn't matter...would just be a cover-up for the amateur hour that we've got going off-field. That's where the biggest problem lies.

We have as much chance of making finals as I do of winning Tatts this week.
Mathematically we're both a chance

am i patting myself on the back cos what?

cos we walked off the cliff???

u think i can do that????

the magic man???

these things happen when the pied piper leads all them kids ....

Tell us what did happen to those kiddies Dane....!!!

The pipes were always sugar.... but sometimes a kid does need his spinach

Did you ever ask one question Dane???

Or happy to leave it to them to play the pipe???

And a review???

you think you cant have a proper review????

Are you really that naive????

A guy like Bruce knows how to have reviews done.. he has them done all the time....

The only thing that would stop this club having a review are the subjects of concern the review will unearth,..

You know something Dane?
Clubs have had reviews in the past.
And there are more suitable people than Gleeson and his clipboard and pencil to conduct them.

The AFL will sort it out for us.. dont you worry Dane ol boy!!!

Theyre there for that!!!

By any chance do you think Mathieson shoots his mouth off without making enquiries???

Well do you????
