Hallelujah!
This is the bloke we needed to come out and say this. He's the one the club HAS to listen to, because they know how important he is and how flowered we would be without him.
And, like Synners said, he hasn't have done it lightly. He would have explored other avenues first ... but it seems no-one at Royal Parade was listening - or didn't like what they were hearing and, like everything else, just hoped it would go away.
We can take great heart from this - because the wheels are in motion. Bruce has a plan.
Ratts is gone. Has been for awhile. He's lost the players and the industry knows it.
But it is now a matter of how much other change can be driven through the club. We just can't afford to flower it up this time.
How many lives can a footy club have?
Sticks and his mates are slowly realising they won't get away with replacing Ratts and, you beauty, it's off to the boardroom we go. Powerful people who care about the club, members, fans and the media won't let them gloss over the massive problems at the club. There has to be significant change.
Like us, Bruce wants his club back. He wants bang for his buck. Like us, he's embarrassed. We're a laughing stock again.
The industry is having a field day mocking us and picking us apart. Giggling at our ineptitude and at how Sticks tells everyone things will be alright - there's still nine rounds to go!!!!
FMD! Least now we're still a mathematical chance.

Won't be soon the way we are going. What then Pres?
Bring it on Bruce ... because if we get the right people in place things can be turned around quickly, on the field especially.
