Anyone notice, how many times we misjudged the ball in the air last monday night? I found it very odd.

Yes, It was seriously weird how often it happened.

At one point Goddard was going to kick in and threw the ball away to get another one.

Maybe something wrong with a ball. It was odd.

We'll win this and do so quite convincingly.

Who have Adelaide played this year?

Gold Coast - 17th so far this year
Doggies - 13th
Hawthorn - 9th and lost to them
GWS 16th
Port - 15th
Sydney - 5th and only just won
Geelong 10th and looking slow and old.

Only one team in the current 8 and history shows the 8 at round 7 remains pretty settled.

Can't agree Chucky.

Beating Sydney @ SCG the week after they beat Hawks in Tassie is all I really needed to read. "Slow and old" Geelong aren't beaten very often by 50 or more points, couldn't care where the game was played.

They're playing serious footy at the moment.

What big scalps had Bombers and Saints had prior to playing us?

If McLean can't get into a side that is getting hammered at the stoppages ... then one would have to say that he won't get another chance.

Maybe Hammer can recommend his eye specialist to some of his team mates.

That's what happens when you're spooked early on

The perceived pressure... the rushed disposal... the poor decision making

Watch the first half of the Dawks game last year...

Probably a stupid question, considering it's about a Carlton player injury, but does anybody know how serious Waite's injury is?

Had Walker not been back in the side, that would be terrible news, but I back Thornton's output alongside Walks and the resting ruckman.

Tom Lynch? Unlikely. If he plays defence he might do OK on Hampson and Kreuzer, but that helps us.
