We need North to smash Freo, 10 goals would be nice. They must win to keep 8th spot alive.
% is our only saviour now (+ win against the Saints) & for us to bury GCFC & Saints with big wins. We will know by the start of the Saints game how much we'll need to win by to get in.

Next week I think North will beat Freo in a close one and we'll beat GC comfortably.

Freo will win their last game and it will come down to a 50/50 game us vs StK at bloody Etihad

Not sure about North. Freo are very good at shut down football and Etihad will suit them. Sandilands back is a factor. Very nervous about this game.

The Dockers don't have the backman to go with all the North tall's, but Lyon won't get his pant's pulled down like Buckley did. I reckon there is almost zero chance that we'll see North running in numbers and streaming out of defence like they have for the past couple of months.

The best we can hope for is a North victory, but the margin wont be much.

We need to really massacre the GC next week as percentage is everything now. Switch right on and attack them.

yep. win by close to 100 and as long as we beat saints and north get over the line v freo we should sneak in (even if freo pump melbourne by 100)

I wonder if Murfs mark after the siren, and subsequent goal, will be the difference.?

Would it be completely out of the question for St Kilda to lay down against us, just to give a big @#$%&! you to Ross Lyon?

OOOOooooooooooo.

I like that theory.

Pity for us Watters doesn't have an axe to grind against Ross.

But that is a fairly well established leadership group, maybe, just maybe....................................

Yep, they lose next week and could face the eagles in Perth for an elimination final if results go to plan, they need to keep winning to ensure a home final

I think we are in.

Assuming and this is very conservative

North beat Freo by 30.
Us over GC by 60

Freo over Melb by 100
Us over Saints by 12

We still get in.

I @#$%&! hate North and if those tin rattlers decide to spud it up next week I will seriously go mental.

I'm seriously wondering if the Filth threw the game last night although looking at the ladder I can't quite see why thye would.

I was so confident we would make the 8 until late last night when Collingwood did what Collingwood do best.
Now I am really concerned that Freo will be hungrier and therefore beat North. I just can't get comfortable.
I am going to really hate this week and maybe even more North come this weekend.
