Its wet and windy, doubt that talls are going to be the difference.

Funny how people see things differently. I was looking at that defense and I was more than a bit disturbed by the lack oh height. I know laidler's not a tall but he plays like one. I hope we don't have to rely on Thornton to take a key tall because that's not his go.

You have to weigh up how many goals get scored by a tall player when his height/size comes into it. Not many. We add to our score more by having extra running players. More rotations, more options all around the ground and more rebound.
The closest a team has come to beating us with height were the Crows but we shot ourselves in the foot that day with poor conversion and they should never had got close. In the end it was our run and extra running players that got us over the line.

Having said that it would be good if Thornton or whoever plays CHB/FB were 3cm taller.

Joesph was the only emergency to travel with the side.

Ellard/Curnow/Robinson/Joesph all in the same side? Not sure that quartet will win you a final.

For those coming over or in Adelaide, they are training Saturday morning @ 1045, at Richmond Oval.

Richmond Oval is HERE !!

Just got home from watching the lads train.

JR was fine jogging, but looked a little bit hampered the few times he really opened it up.

HEAPS of supporters there. Easily over 500 people (I want to say maybe 1000, but I'm no good with estimating crowd figures).

All the players were great with the fans, with every single one of them spending time with the supporters signing autographs/taking photos after training.

Special mention to Ed Curnow who was kind enough to hold my 1yo son for a photo.

I can't believe I'm not in Adelaide for this one.

Have a slightly important quote for the Saudi Govt.
I still can't believe I'm saying that.
Still no excuse.

The Adelaide and Perth Blues fans are outstanding.
Those pics are magic.
I always feel I'm amongst friends when in Perth or Adelaide...almost feels like a home game TBH.

Well done you legends and thanks for sharing the photos.

You beauty.

15 goal win!!!

Great support from the SA Blues supporters. The players must be humbled to see that many people come out to a training session interstate.

Not suprised...he is the only player every week who gives the auskicks kids a high 5 when running back onto the ground after half time.

From the BOM:
Adelaide

Forecast for Sunday
Fine during the morning, then a few showers developing during the afternoon or
evening. Cool with moderate to fresh west to northwesterly winds, shifting south
to southwesterly from late afternoon then easing during the evening.
