Not me.

Not me as well.

As much as I prefer to never change the famous dark Navy Blue, the white one was surprisingly easy to accept even before we actually played a game wearing it. I own one.

This Sky (being generous here) Blue version just doesn't sit comfortably with me. I remember feeling embarrassed with the M&M jumper and this one feels similar. Darker shorts may have made it easier on the eye. I understand why the club has taken this decision but I don't think they're quite in touch with the supporters tbh.

Many have remarked about ManC in this thread. Maybe the traveling contingent can chant 'Sky Blue 'til I die' at away fixtures?

The design of their jumper allows that though. Because ours is so simple there's not a lot we can do besides changing the base colour, unless we want to mess with stripes or having several blocks of colour. If we did that them the logo wouldn't stand out so much and it would probably look messy.

What's stopping us from changing the size of the logo??? Have a big logo, maybe even on an angle. There would be a lot more whit and we could change the back to be white... at least the front would have navy blue....

bluedog, I asked the other guy this question and he didn't answer, and maybe you've covered it somewhere, but whats your solution, given that the AFL have more or less told us we have to have a clash guernsey?

And Yazzamatazz.....I would hate to see us alter the size of the logo to get around it.

Its no different from the back. You could maybe wear yellow socks...I reckon the AFL tells us 'Nice try, but not good enough'.

The white clash strip only became a problem once Nike got involved.

Nice for Mars, Nike and Hyundai to get on the back page of Australia's biggest tabloid.

That's what some won't or can't recognise.

The white strip was the closest thing to our colours and tradition because it was the reverse of the white CFC logo on a dark navy background.

No need for a further change from what was the most palatable option.

Fair enough too.

At least its an option and the half yellow back might be enough.

First and foremost, I don't believe alternate jumpers are necessary.
I have always wanted to know what would have happened if all clubs said they were against having an alternate jumper, like they should have.
As for the actual design of an alternate jumper, not sure there. If it's the back of the jumper which is the supposed problem, just change the back.
But no need to introduce a new colour into that design. If we've just accepted what Nike wanted, like some have suggested, that is disgraceful.
We are the Navy Blues.

Alternate jumpers are all about money....not about clashing with other jumpers....just dollars....all codes around the world have done it for ages now....its no big deal....what the players do out on the field and how they are coached....thats all that matters....
