I watched the news, basically he said the same old line he always says.

Leaving it up to his managers, it will sort itself out. He wants something sorted out sooner rather than later. He is a blue man and hopes it stays that way.

Josh, Synbad anything to add. Is the contract done or close to being done ? I reckon the media is crapping on again, as no-one appears to be saying anything different.

The Footy Show needs a story tonight and next week and the week after...
Fev needs to keep up his high media profile... :)

I read either on BF or here last week fev had signed and was going to annouce it tonight on The Footy Show????? Funny how we bag the media for talking crap, there's a few "posters" roaming around that do the same thing.

Did anyone hear Gerard Daffy say on 3 AW sports today, tonight that Brown had/will sign with the Blues...from a reliable source of his? Now the big man doesn't usually mouth off...but surely he has more credibility than Andy Maher?

News is apparently about one of the panellist (Fev?), moving to another club and not JB.

I personally cannot see how Fev will leave Carlton.

Unless Hutchy is talking about Crawf or Thompson. Unlikely though.

Typical of the Swans; they cannot develop their own key forward or ruck so try to poach another clubs.

Would have to offer picks + players. He won't come cheap if they really want him.

Having said that, he'll still stay at Carlton - Swans are trying to keep us honest and ensure his price is pushed up. Have every confidence in our administration to sort out.

I've no doubt Sydney (and others) will have a go at unsettling and wooing Fev - they'd be negligent if they didn't. That's the easy part - getting it done is another matter. In fact, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Brendan's management is behind tonight's "story".

Having said that... what are Sydney willing to offer to Brisbane to get the obvious 3-way trade happening?

Given what JK and a few others have said the announcement is not far away, but Sydney would have to at least put their first pick (11-16) + Vezpremi + hmmm they don't have much else to offer.

I hope we don't go overboard with a Kouta like deal to keep Fev.

We should explore who is available, and what gives us a better end result.

Its business...
