Swannie said on 3AW that there are still 6,500 members from last year that have not renewed.

Funny, I received a letter in teh mail about 2 weeks ago asking "Dr Unsigned Member" or something to that degree if I was going to sign up for this year...

I signed up months ago.

So that said, I wonder how accurate that 6.5K unsigned figure is??

I didn't know you were a Doctor Sparky.

I was wondering if you could help me with a problem that I have recently acquired please?

I have this BO that I desperately want to get rid of.

Any suggestions?

I only re-signed last week but I received a text message asking me to re-sign in Feb whilst I was skiing in California. Literally heard something in my ski jacket Beep and I had to stop on some massive mountain somewhere and have a look and it was an SMS reminding me to renew my Carlton membership!!

I recommend a highly potent fungicide, but the BO will probably have to be removed forcibly - lanced and then cut off altogether if that doesn't work. As a result of the BO's removal you will find yourself more relaxed, less narky and little to no irritation.

The Gavro Virus is an altogether different problem though...

I'm not a Dr though, I'm in fact a med. sci.

Dr SparkyBlue - does have a nice ring to it though!!

Can you imagine how many members we will get when the team starts becoming a force again?

Look at the Hawks. They are up to 33000 or something, a new record and its safe to say they are top 4 material. We still have more.

When we are top 4 material 45000 is not out of the question.

Time for an update.

Still lots of time to add members. We added over 6000 from this date in each of the last two years.

We would have close to the longest bandwagon in the league.

I just received an image from a scum-supporting mate of mine taken at the game on Saturday.

The image shows a massive line at the scum membership tent, while our kids are doing star-jumps to stay warm.

Watch out for it in your inbox.

I saw that line - I asked the Carlton people about it. They said that the bombers line was so long because they hadn't managed to post out membership cards so people were actually collecting them prior to entry.

PS - He told me we're over 36,000 now!!!

Imagine where we'd be if we were 3 and 0 instead of 0 and 3.

2 and 1 would have been enough.
