I don't hate Madhouse ...

I do hate the crazy decision of his appointment.
I do hate the way our team has gone backwards since his appointment.
I do hate some of the crazy coaching and selection decisions that are made each week.

If we come out next year and threaten for the flag I will be the first to congratulate Madhouse ... but it aint gunna happen.

A lot is said about Micks record at the pies - taking them to 4 grand finals and winning one in 12 years but when you look at the 118 year history of Collingwood they have won 15 flags thats one every 7.8 years not 1 in 12 - they have also played off for the flag 43 times thats once every 2.74 years - Micks record was 1 in 3 - So when you look at history Micks performance at the pies was below what they normally average

But up until 1995 we were averaging one flag every 6 years (6.1875 to be precise), lower that to every 5.5 years if you want to count the VFA flags.


We've nearly gone 20 without a flag and the way we are tracking we are going to go 25 before we are a realistic chance again (probably 30 years ).

So don't worry about Micks record at Collingwood, worry about our record.
