Mouth gaurds make it difficult to sledge an I will be doing plenty of that

Mark No 3 - 10 kg over your playing weight when you get to about 35 kg over playing wieght then complain

I may have another body aswell which I am sure we will need because I will get buggered just jogging on to the field , The blokes I'm bringing are alot fitter than me and have been playing soccer recently

Fullmont, are we going to need a mouthguard?

Nah, these games are all about having fun so people don't go the crash and bash, but if you want to wear 1 for just incase feel free.

Befor the game I will have a quick chat to both teams and just say how these games are normally played down here. Just to put a few peoples minds to rest about anything that they may be thinking.

Good news, Fullmont, I've got another Sydney Carlton fan who is interested, he's meeting us there.

We might even have a bench!

Guys, just to let you know, the forecast at this stage for Saturday's weather is fine and 27, so please bring water, Gatorade-type drinks, things like that. I wouldn't want anyone missing the match on Sunday due to heatstroke.

Awesome news, was hoping it would be dry.

Only a few days away now boys and girls, can't wait to watch Jacko, Arab and maybe Jake also the day after.

good stuff guys. 27, nice and warm! have to bring some sunscreen i think.

we all got burnt after the pies game at that was overcast (and even rained at one point).

if we have a bench we need to make sure we use it. whenever someone feels like a rest just sub off. also we want to make sure everyone gets a good run, so we dont have subs standing around watching most of the game from the sidelines.

I'm thinking of bringing a cooler with a spout filled with Gatorade, given the probable conditions. How does everyone else like the sound of that?

For people who are driving to this game, just beware that the Rugby final is on at Aussie Stadium at the same time so traffic and parking could ba a bit of a mare.

Also we are playing at 2 or 2:30?

Guys my local club will be supplying water bottles for us on the day. Mrs 3 and myself will fill these at the Local footy finals prior to coming along. Mrs three will also run water but alas no cougar top available (maybe someone could donate one in a size 8 (size 6 if you really want em emphasised)). As stated I will bring footies and a pump along as well as beers, my mate Dave and some ice in case of emergency.

Given the ground may not have a great surface I suggest wearing joggers which will hopefully reduce the chance of ankle injuries, but for those with shit ankles like myself bring strapping tape.

thats awesome, thanks for that mark. is the ground all that hard at the moment? any idea?

also should everyone rock up ready to go or is there change rooms/public toilets near by that we can use to get changed?

Gez I would rock up either in shorts under your shorts, jeans or trackies so your pretty much ready to go. My experience playing on the ground out side the SCG is just get changed out in the open as the facilities if open are probably pretty poor anyway.

Also I may have another mate wanting to play who I have drummed into his head that this is for fun only as his fitness levels are in the elite category (current world champ kickboxer) and he tends to get excited tackling people.

I'll be right to get there well before 2.

SB, don't stress about it.

I'm taking Gatorade to make sure we don't have any ill-effects from possible heat and dehydration. I've got a big esky with a pour spout in it for it.

Bugger the runners, Mark, I bought a pair of footy boots (moldeds) for the match, I'm gonna bloody well wear them!
