I know upsets can happen, but can't see tiggers or dogs losing their last 3.
A lot hinges on tiggers and lions game today. We will also need to win one more and keep our % above the dogs. It's looking very dicey.

We may still fall into the 8 but our form line doesn’t stack up for doing much if we make it. 4-5 in the last 9 games. 3 of those wins against bottom sides in GWS, West Coast and Essendon*. The other against Freo, which looked good at the time but Freo have been sinking badly since. Starting to lose to teams we beat early in the year too - Richmond and Adelaide (the second game being about a 90 point turnaround). 8-2 start was very enjoyable but we’ve been sinking since.

We will win 2 of the next 3 games. We will play finals.

If we win one of the next 3, then we deserve finals and nobody can say we got in by default.

Not saying we don’t but after last night gotta think it is unlikely

If Richmond win today we may need to win 2 of our 3 as Richmond should win their remaining 3 after this and so should the dogs who will then likely have a better % than us.

So we should be rooting for Brisbane today but not next week?

Yes completely fluffed an opportunity to lock in a finals berth last night
Now we are going to have to scrap and claw for one more win as underdogs in all 3 games
When was the last time we won vs Brisbane at the Gabba? I’m guessing 2016 or 2017 maybe
When was the last time we beat Melbourne? 2016 or 2017 as well off the top of my head
Collingwood are very much beatable but of course they’ve already beaten us this year and have the wood over us recently
If we make it, we’ll deserve it but we’ve put ourselves in a precarious position and we only have ourselves to blame after last night

Just take the rooting one week at a time
