At the end of the year, put together the '2013 All-Brad-Moran Team'.

Maybe I am missing the point of this thread, and I realise that it is all just a bit of fun, but some of the nominations are ridiculous.

Lindsay Thomas, whether we like him or not, is widely regarded as a quality small forward. He has proven himself over an extended period and is in with a chance at winning this year's Coleman Medal! He had a bout of the "yips" a couple of seasons ago, but is actually a very good kick for goal and a classy small forward. His game against us a few seasons ago, when he kicked 7.5, would have qualified for this thread because that performance came at a time at which he was still establishing himself and which was clearly his most productive game until that point.

As I understand it, the idea of this thread is to nominate players who make "out of the box" contributions against us. Thomas is hardly a good example.

I'll nominate Nathan Bock for next week. Been out with a broken leg for 12 months or so and has had a few games in the local competition.

Every game Thomas has against us is a "break-out game"

Speaking of which - is there a whole team Brad Moran category, because we are not going to get within 8 goals of St Kilda next week.

I'd like to nominate Zac Dawson for this week. Pretty sure he's kicked about 5 career goals and 2 against us

Guys can I also draw your attention to the fact that despite kicking six last week, and despite Norf kicking 22 goals today - LINDSAY THOMAS DID NOT KICK A SINGLE GOAL TODAY

Tipping their back up ruckman will play in place of Sandilands, who dominates us, either in the ruck or up forward.

We then sign him to a large 3 yr deal just as we trade Warnock off for next to nothing..

Two tough weeks in a row, as in one game no-one really cut us up, and last night it was the better players who did the job.

Thus I've nominated them as such

Quote:
Round 18: Tie - Matt Shaw (22 disp, 1 goal) and Aaron Hall (14 disp, 2 goals) - (GC)
Round 19: Michael Walters (Fre) - 4 goals
