Who told you we weren't favourites for the flag in 1979?

If it was that pissant bitter and twisted old Tom Prior (Chief Football Writer of The Sun) - tell him to get stuffed.

We were raging favourites - and the only reason Collingwood got close in the Grand Final was that it was played in a bog. :wink:

very true about 79. it was only the morning of the game when they knew it would be a bog that collingwood were given a chance, 81 i think we were favs but 82 it was def the tigers
