Hey Rhino. I would have concentrated on getting up the draft order not pushing picks lower. I would have used the first this year and next to turn them into higher picks this year and more seconds/thirds next year. Gold coast and Melbourne managed this very well. They targeted Gold Coasts 4th - i wish we had done that ourselves. And Gold coasts early teen picks too knowing they want heaps of points for this year and the next.

I would not have downgraded our first to north and just insisted on the second round - after all Fisher was contracted.

I would insist on a 3rd for Dow - We will see how that turns out.

I would have been in the hunt for Schultz and Henry. Small forward and another runner.

I would put Pittonet out there for trade and targeted a cheaper option as a back up to TDK. Pittonet is not going to take us to the next step and someone out there may love him. Personally i would have dangled Marchbank and Martin too to see who bit. At the right price and all that.

Collingwood were ruthless a few years ago and now as well and they won a flag.

I dont know, and we may be doing this not sure. But i would have been targetting a medium forward very strongly as i feel that will take us to the next step. Im hoping Hollands will be that running midfielder we need.

Not many 2nd rucks that are that serviceable, likely still improving and willing to play 2nd fiddle on a 4 year deal like Pitto.

Pitto is invisible. He doesnt take marks around the ground. Doesnt drop back or forward to take a mark. Cant take a relieving mark down the line.

He is basically a body in the centre.

Will not take us to the next step of winning a premiership.

This is the time to now upgrade and improve.

Maybe there is some delusional team out there that thing they can fix him and offer something good.

Then we get someone from the vfl as im sure they will do the same or a bit more than Pitto.

I don't fully blame SoS. He knows all he needs to do is pay a 3rd rounder and walk away. He'll do it on his terms now and when he is good and ready.
