Yes please. Image

Such an exciting day if not one of many false dawns.

I was at that game.

Nick Stevens was everywhere that day. He had at least 60 possessions.

Looking forward to it. It's exciting to see new players, possibly different structures and some new enthusiasm and excitement. All the best to the new boys. Hopefully Moir isn't sub and gets a decent opportunity. You'd suggest the conditions may suit him. Highly skilled players perform in adverse conditions IMHO.
Go Blues and give them your best. If we're going down lets go down swinging.

100% Blue Vain. I'm reminded of 94 when we played the Cats at Waverley. They had 3 guns out (well, we have about 15, but no matter) and they won. It all might go pear shaped but I rate Vossy as a coach and they will run through brick walls on Sunday for him. We will have 23 fit players. Lower the eyes in the forward 50 or make chaos ball entries. Since November last year, blokes like Crippa, Weiter, Newman and others have given their all. These blokes won't leave anything on the park, as they say. Go Blues and good luck to Lordy, Binnsy and Ashy.

That’s a big call! Any facts to back that statement up? :-)

One final Note here ... it's good to see him in the Teams, let's hope he can be an X-box factor and Co-Pilot us to victory.

Can we quickly rush through a Bill on TC where we shut the Gates and the Windows on all this Microsoft stuff?

Still high on Essendon*'s demise, I finally summoned the courage to watch the 7 minute "highlights" package of the Hawthorn game. Even allowing for injury, I've not seen such calamity since the spoon years. Now I feel we have zero chance against WCE and strong possibility of a humiliating scoreline. I should not have opened this box. :(

On a side note, I consoled myself by re- watching the Mac Andrew kick. Possibly been mentioned on here already, but how bad was that camera angle? It's impossible to tell without commentary whether it's going in or not. How hard can it be, ffs?

Blues by 28 points. Confident about this one. I think the influx of youth will do it for us. Lord will bring some real do or die.

Moir isn't ready, so I hope he is the Sub and comes on for 20 mins in the last. I guess it will show him the levels he will need to reach. I am surprised at how poor he has been in the VFL. His skill levels need to be matched with a far greater level of mental toughness and desperation, to impact. 3 weeks holidays for him at the end of the season and then 4 months, 6 days per week in a boxing/wrestling gym.

He is creating his own running track about 10 metres in from each wing at Icon. Playing the AFL as a non contact sport is never going to cut it under Vossy.

Regards Cazzesman

Yep, pissing down in Perth

Optus Stadium has pretty good drainage but the Rugby will definitely rough up the surface.

Could be some muddy jumpers tomorrow !

(and probably another 5 injuries)

Yep very ugly weather today.

Captains run was supposed to be at Trinity College, presumably due to the rugby, but I believe that has been cancelled. Apparently the schools facilities are inadequate for the weather.

Hope like hell we can somehow pinch a win tomorrow. But I’m not holding my breath.

it's true ... the hawks game was the final straw as far as our pissweak tackling goes. hawks were breaking thru tackles all day long. before the injuries they were strolling thru us. in a season of crap tackling, this was our pinnacle.

such a stark contrast from last season where we stuck every tackle and tackled everything that moved.

Two wins of any size against shit teams and we play finals. We have incentive. What do WC and SK have ? Having a smaller forward line should work in our favor in a wet slug fest. Carlton to win a close one.

We need to Freo to win next week to make sure the Pies don't make the finals. Can't have the maggies ruining an otherwise stress free finals series.

Win this, and the filth can't leapfrog us into the finals.

With Freo losing and the Pois winning, this game has me on edge again... ffs
