I hope they're proud of themselves. Carazzo, McLean, Waite, Judd are all finished. Can't see them winning another game this year.

Sad but true but the reality is there is no one to take their place!

Poor attitude. Doesn't matter how good or bad you are, if you have a bad lazy attitude you will not be successful.

We need to recruit guys with the will to win attitude. Ie Menzel. That's about it really.

No kids coming through.
Let me repeat that.

No kids coming through.

This is called a green fields rebuild.

Were starting from where GWS did just without all the picks.

Anyone who thinks Dr Strangelove has taken us forward has rocks in their head.

MVP thread's gonna be a real lottety this week. Menzel the only player I'd say had a good game. Yarran with some nice runs, albeit leading to nothing. Gibbs... a nice goal. Everitt maybe... but really Menzel is the only one whose vote doesn't come with an asterisk.

That's the point, people stuck in a fatalistic rut don't get it.

He'd be an excellent list manager... but coaching has passed him

Let's take the piss entirely and recruit Sheedy as Malthouse's replacement.

I am with you Sydney Blue. Pagan but worse.
Since he has been there we have had a good quarter here and there but what exactly is our game style.
When is mick going to show us something. So far he has been a complete turkey at Carlton.
Was offered the job for the wrong reason and took it for his own wrong reasons.
We are probably better off milking him for some high draft picks though. Save the money from paying him out and giving the next guy a good run at it.

:garthp: x10

Seriously boys, you both need to get a grip.

10+ goals from direct turnovers is hardly a result of a poor game plan. There is some serious dead wood from the Ratten days that still needs to be cut. Malthouse has been hamstrung from the beginning by poor recruiting and terrible management of the list and player contracts.

No one else could currently be doing a better job.

Malthouse wouldnt have come to Carlton if he thought the list was poor - his judgement of the list was wrong

Mentioned on the Ch7 broadcast, we've lost to Brisbane, GWS, Richmond, Melbourne. Cellar dwellers.

That's a moot point though.

We're discussing his performance with the list he has got now, not what he thought he was getting.
