I'll take the win even though it was a nothing game. They faded in the end despite having gone to Arizona. I think North went to Mt Eliza.

Excellent hit out. Rusty but but you would go to war with Belly and Ellard.

Bit of character shown in spite of ability in that last 20 minutes.

5> Bell
4> Watson
3> Everitt
2> Wood
1> Buckley

There's your real win there. No Simpson, Scotland, Judd, Carrazzo, Henderson, Kreuzer, Jamison, Thomas, Garlett is even better.

Absolutely. Also minimal impact from Gibbs, Murphy, Walker, Waite and Tuohy.

Bell our best player IMO.
Everitt good first half and faded.
Buckley good first quarter and then flashed in and out.
Watson was beaten a few times but had a pretty good hit out.
Gibbs just a steady game.
Murphy a shocker. he's a worry of late.
Waite did nothing.
levi shwed glimpses.
Yarran lackadaisical but looked good when he got it.
McInness steady but not much else.
Curnow doesn't get it much but was full of run.
Graham got it a few times but nothing to get excited about tonight.
Menzell was a good pickup and had a pretty good game, especially early.
Cripps had a bit of it.
Ellard is always thereabouts and will play footy this year because he gives it everything. If he were built like Gibbs.....
warnock got a lot of hand on the ball but his tapwork was not good consistently. Hadone kick I can remember.
Wood gives mpre than Warnock and based on tonight, I'd prefer him to Warnock.
Robbo had a Robbo game. got it a lot and had about 50% disposal efficiency but at least he gets it.

The tackling was a lot better than it has been but we still bomb it long.
All in all, it was a reasonable night but I wonder about the expense of going to Arizona for fitness when NM seemed to be fitter at the end.

Co-sign.

Watching North bodies bouncing of Bell as he steamrolled through packs was the highlight of the game for me.

Nice collective tackling effort today... delivery to the forwards needs a little work

Explain "of late" in the context of the first pre-season game of the year?

Agree with most of that BS. For mine Graham was the biggest disappointment tonight from the kids. Didn't really get into to it and hurt with one awful turnover. Still have faith that he'll be a decent player for us, tonight just wasn't his night.

Tonight was all about the kids, really. Not many senior players had more than a minimal impact, except perhaps Brock.

Ellard gives everything he's got....if they all tried as hard as he does...

Good win and from what i saw no injuries.
Loved Bell and Ellard.
Commentary was making me sick, Why no Carlton player joining the panel?

Little class shown by Murphy today. In the last quarter he was pushed off the ball like a novice. Noticed he had plugs up the noe so may have hard difficulty breathing after know to the face. Only early.
