Is it me or has the clash jumper changed this year? Seems like the blue from the lower front has gone.

Don't mind the indigenous jumper.

Apparently Nike stuffed up the design and that's why the front is all white. True story.

Looks heaps better though.

Perhaps the club stuffed up the design and Nike inadvertently fixed it

I like to think that the blackfella players at the club were consulted on the jumper.

Apparently there were a number of meetings they were meant to attend regarding the jumper. They turned up to the first one, but then wouldn't come back.

So that makes it five different guernsey designs in one (supposedly historic) season:

Normal home

I dunno Franc...It's at the start of the pre-season - but I kinda like the St.Patrick's Day jumper concept.

The term "wouldn't come back" if correct is a worry.

Every team has their own indigenous jumper this year.

It was rather pathetic, I know.

Not the most reliable source I know, but someone on BigFooty claims that the club is permanently reverting to the heritage monogram as of next season.

They also claim that the current laurel wreath logo is to remain with 'Mens Sana In Corpore Sano' replacing the 'Celebrating 150 Years' tag.

Great news if true.

So can someone confirm what's happening with the jumper? It would be great if we could get the 1970s style jumper back???!

Not in this thread you didn't.

So, seeing as you know everything, is it all true or not?

Baby steps back to once again being 'proper' Carlton.

 Really? You should probably ask nicely...it's not difficult.

Haven't discussed the jumper issue for a while...because in all honesty - it's not at the top of the list of things that need doing urgently...BUT...the board liked it...nike has given green light...shouldn't be a problem with the AFL bur numerous meetings will need to be had (they own it afterall)..but in all likelihood names will be a permanent fixture next year and AFL may make them bigger than Rnd 5 version...in which case could squeeze out the cfc logo which is already very small.

Anything else you need to know? It's late on a Thursday night but I'll be up for an hour or so more...
