Fev has a big contract yeah....and its a sticking point and a pain in the ass for sure.

But what does he do if they put him in front of the playing group and Ratts tells him he dosn't want him in his team, then Judd gets up and tells him he dosn't want him at the club anymore, then Simmo gets up and says the same, Then Murph, then T-Bird, BG, Jarrod Waite, Eddie Betts, Jammo.....they all get up and say "Fev you have a contract - but Fev we just don't want you here anymore"

What does Fev do now ?

We are giving a premiership to the Bulldogs and shutting our window at the same time. Absolutely mind boggling. What was the point of getting Judd now? We won't be winning anything for another 5-6 years If (and that's a big IF) we do. We should have kept Kennedy and picks 3 and 18 but we chose to go down the Fev road and we now have to stick to it. If we don't it's just another massive cock-up and one that can be partly attributed to everyone's beloved untouchable Greg Swann.

Ratts can start working abit harder for his money.
We need a gameplan going forward.

Nah the "cock up" is again from Fev.

Fev cant do what he likes over and over again with impunity....!!!.. what the !@#$%& do you think this is?

And the board and Swann wont just jeapordise the club because they dont like Fev.

Fev wouldnt be a loved teammate right now.

What he went out and did last monday was a disgrace!!!

It isnt the first time either....

How many chances do you give a guy like Fev?

When is enough , enough?

What are the standards that a footy club or any oprganisation has?

Fev will probably end up staying.... but he is a flower...!!!... and the only thing that might save him is his contract..... not his football!!!

He shitten on everything that is navy blue... he shitted on the sport.. and he shitten on his mates.. his colleagues and most of all he shitted on his family..

what was a disgrace? what was on the footy show telecast? hardly a disgrace! fev is a victim of a media character assassination. fev sells papers! Hurley (who beat up a taxi driver which is far worse) does not! So Fev has to put up with unwarranted sh** from posters like you while Hurley gets off lightly.

You do realise that the AFL players group thought he demeaned the whole competition... thats his coleagues away from the club... his colleagues inside the club... his coaches.. his board members.. sponsors.. players families... journalists... the AFL...and his misses..

that doesnt leave too many happy with him..

probably just a few losers who go along to the footy... and dont give a fook about anything in the world except Fev kicking 3.5 goals a game.

What do you care about the club or the competition.. or Fevs team mates..opposition players.. their mrs..directors... the afl... the competition... and anyone or anything else that came into contact with fev???

If you dont have standards... your house would burn down...or fall over... you realise that dont you?

Fev can go march to the beat of his own drum away from this club........

but like i said.. his contract will probably save him... yes you will get to watch him for another year .. maybe 2.. and hen his goals dry up... he will be a hobo.. and even YOU wont give a @#$%&! then... right???

2. Think back to St Kilda and Rob Harvey. He was arguably their best midfielder last year, and retired. Look at how much better St Kilda's midfield was this year. Not saying that Harvey was a culprit, but that when one door closes, another opens. And sometimes the new door is a better door, even if you could never imagine it.

You serious? Poor example. Harvey was on his last legs and he could barely lift them. he was being carried by his teammates and staying on for another year would have been selfish on his behalf. He was their worst midfielder last year.

We are in a post-Fevola era in 3 years anyway......maybe in 6 months if we put all sorts of contractual clauses in which he breaks.......who knows.....and if he does something dumb, which seems characterlogically probable.....we get nothing?

So why not get something back by way of compensation and start working on forward line structures post-Fev now, while Judd is still 26, Murph, Kreuz, Gibbs under 23, as opposed to in 3 years when we have to worry about it then...and Juddy is 29, and the other three peaking.......and in all probability without having pinched one in those 3 years??

Yes but where do you get a forward option from? Where's the guarantee we'll have one in three years. Since 1998 when Fev was drafted how many others have we developed? They don't grow on trees. Fev gives us a shot at a flag in the next three years. Don't want to give him up easily.

exactly right, 110kg full forwards that kick 90 goals a year dont come around too often, and some people wanna discard him on rumours and innuendo. when are all these juicy rumours gonna surface as fact? maybe there all B.S?

they might not come around often but they dont hand around forever... at some point you have to move on...

thats the thing about the world... we all have a shelf life... Fevs close to his best before date... and possibly used by date...

He isnt smart enough to realise that ....

but like the for rest of us.. its coming....

Either way there's gonna be a lot of supporters gutted.

Seems off the top of my nut the Keepers generally want to see the antiJudd kicking goals and the Traders want to see the team working as a team to win a premiership.

Would love to see other players have the chance to become heroes. Like Setanta, Yazz, Garlett, Russell, Austin, Waite and any of a dozen youger players e.g. O'Keefe, Tiller, Stanton. Yes Tiller and Stanton.

We were effectively without the antiJudd for half 2009 due to injury. He insisted on playing injured. No-one was game to argue with him. Was seen walking across Royal Pde in bare feet with the foot injury. Was it good for Club morale?

He might have only two seasons left, less if injured. At 29 he could start to lose his pace edge any time.

Going on the track record I have a gut feeling if he stays the turmoil will go on until he retires in another situation like this.

If you want scapegoats ask whoever in the Club insisted on his current contract being the way it is. But ultimately he's responsible for his own behaviour.

yes it would be a different set of rules for Scotland or someone of lesser calibur than fev. That's the entire point. He's a 2 time coleman medalist and he's one of the biggest and best players in the sport. THAT is why we need him. Take a hard line by all means, but dont drop him. Its simply bad business.

Perhaps a further 2-3 days of stewing in his own despair can only make him more desperate to atone.

He DOES love Carlton; and would be heartbroken to be discarded.......and he's lost his lucrative Ch.9 Contract as well.

Ch.9 would've been a great "job" in retirement when the time comes......and now that's gone too.

I'm pretty sure i just read that Harvey was St Kilda's worst midfielder last year

Anyway. Is there any chance the club made no announcement on anything today because of the B&F?

And on a separate matter... the footage Fox Sports showed of Ratts... well he looked like a rabbit in headlights.

bad business is what fev is...
he cant manage himself....

he is going the way of elliott and we all know where he went...

Fev hasnt been able to keep a lid on himself and lead a bunch of kids.

Juddy is his mate.... but even he is disgusted.!!!

noone has to put up with fev...

enjoy the drink but a plonk like fev gets enjoyed by the drink....

Mad monday and the dildo.... the dildo now is not being waved over his head anymore.....its gone elsewhere...

If Fev put aas much effort into his leadership as he does into the turps... we would be a better club...

but he doesnt...

he said "i was getting ready for the bulldogs next week"

the guy doesnt have it...

you can be lockett but it doesnt mean you are going to win a flag... does it???

Sticks: of course i'd love to see Fev at Carlton next year but we got allot to sort through and anything can happen

Reporter: Will you offer Fev up for trade?

Sticks: Anything is possible

Sticks: He made the right decision not to attend tonights event

i make of it this...

he haas a contract...
he will be shopped around like a kilo of mutton...
he wont be wanted by anyone for anything substantial... which says alot about the coleman medalist...
he will be put on the spit after all this is said and done... his contract will be ripped up and he will have to re negotiate..

but he would have little respect by his peers.
he will never get a real media job again.

aand his after football life will be in ruins...

thats what i make of it..

what do you make of it????

Quartermain was talking up the rumours Fev was sacked today. He
then said Sticks has denied any truth to it.

Fev is gone, too much smoke no matter the denials.

Quarters also thinks Thursday is the day.
