I got it

Glad it's done.

My take from it all ... clearly the coaching panel set up was wrong, but I'm very concerned with the nature of the comments around the players not being committed to the coach ... feel like our players are again washing their hands of any responsibility in this ... is this history repeating itself??

Liddle looks as though he's under no illusions as to how lucky he is.

Luke is a much better media performer than MLG. He’s actually quite impressive in his ability to think on his feet and deliver a clear message.

Agreed. He looks like he has had the blood drained from him.

We are definitely in the right hands - I await his next hissy fit.

Perhaps you might take a page out of Teague's book and bow out with some grace and dignity.

Suck, it up and get on with life just as he will. You have been given a fair crack at getting your point across so now do us all a favor and be a good loser. If DT moves to the Tigers, give him all your support and buy a Tigers membership.

Regards Cazzesman

Bottom line same story
It’s the senior coaches fault
The board remains a protected species pretty much
The view I the list is good enough
IMO it isn’t
Same shit different day

One aspect I thought was interesting was the club spoke about reviewing the outcomes of the review with teague and he requested it be done at the end of the year ... certainly a different narrative from what I've hears read so far

Like what he's saying or not, it's been a while since we've had a pres able to carry themself competently in front of the media.

I think this press conference leaves no doubt where the power now is in this club.

The AFL media conduct themselves like kids in the backseat of a car trying to annoy the parents upfront. They are truly childish and intellectually lazy.

I agree. He is dealing with the BS questions very well.

For anyone who missed the press conference, a summary...

Journo: What do you think about <insert meedya hack here>'s comments about <insert click-bait headline here> ?
Sayers: ...wtf are you on about?

I believe Luke Sayers is off to a good start as President.
Informing members and supporters about the review was done well.
I did doubt whether this would be the case.
And listening to his press conference I thought he did well.
A bit green in his responses to having a panel to select the coach and the future of Andew Russell,
but you couldn't expect him to be the perfect media performer straight away.
Well done and good luck to the new board.
