The ruck situation in the early rounds becomes interesting now. No Pitto, no O'keefe. And probably don't want JSOS supporting TDK, coming off the knee.

Harry will be busy with no Charlie. Or maybe play Lemmey to free Harry up a bit?

Or Young?

Playing that nasty cauliflower from Richmond first up as well. Can just imagine he's going to take it easy when they are 10 goals down and not try and hurt anyone deliberately.

You will see in 3 weeks time.
I can’t see Young missing out.
The question is, which of the 2 will play CHB.
Can’t leave Harry as only KF.
Kemp will play … but will not ruck
If Harry in ruck, do you really think Kemp will be left as the sole KF if TDK goes to bench for a real rest.
Gone are the days of a resting ruck in the forwadline .

Lemmey can be a marking target, but I wouldn’t be expecting too much from a 20yo KPF despite the newfound strut he’s found during the preseason. Young is a better mark than Lemmey at this stage imo, but I’d be happy for Lemmey if he was given the nod to play his first AFL game. Tigers would be a good game for him to get a taste.

Leemy was the definition of running around aimlessly in the match sim. Hopefully he gets another run at it tomorrow and looks better but for mine he appears barely VFL standard!

There’s no arch thread so this will do.

Bloody warm one. Was putrid before wind picked up, and getting stronger. Shit for long high kicks and marking high ball

sOS looks really fit… it an ounce of fat but big. I guess a lot of weights whilst recovering.

I could go on but let the boys play and see what they’ve got in these conditions

Ground like carpet

Lord tackling looks tough

Ollie spring in his step… he’s a born runner

SOS knows where the goals are. I wonder where he plays today

Motte looking good

My boy Marty Carroll… not expecting too much from him this year but this kid belongs.

Wind coming across ground

I’m sure we are kicking left to right on screen
I’m on other side

I’ll wave… nah… brown eye coming

Cup, now?

We have found one in Lucas Camporeale. He’s got plenty of muscle on him. Plays defensive wing role really well. He and Ollie have something going

Not sure what it looks like on TV but Fog needs to lift. Lost his contest 5 in a row. Not really defending his player. Too much space and hasn’t got the speed to close space. IMO.

Backline working really well. Not sure why Weuters went off.

TDK rucked for whole quarter. Young is the wingman? Let’s see.

How’s the spring on Gov!!! And goal.

Wind dies out a bit when Kemp had his shot. He didn’t adjust. IQ? Awareness?

AA has woken up to the Briggs style of closing space. Great improvement. No doubt TDK stronger than last year and matching Briggs.

Lo

Good mark by Fantasia but I'm sure we'll find out this week he's fractured his eye socket after whacking his face on the ground.
