One goal in two quarters.

They barely care. Voss will be joining Russell the way things are going. Under pressure he is lost. We will now likely miss the 8 2 years out of 3, the very reason we sacked Teague. Then, with his MC, continues to select, unfit, out of form players that Russell has physically destroyed.

At least we can turn our attention to the top 10 of the draft. That's our familiar territory. Back to our comfort zone as supporters of this club. Maybe we can be really clever and live trade our top 10 pick for a couple of 20 something picks and pick up a couple of B graders that'll make no difference

Yep !

Since we’ve been on our losing streak I’ve largely avoided TC and I’ve tuned out from watching or listening to footy media. It’s amazing how it doesn’t really affect you when you don’t pay attention to it.

I used to think I had to stay the course and not be a fair weather supporter but I honestly don’t give a @#$%&! anymore. It’s been close to 25 years of rubbish. It’s a strange phenomenon that we even care at all in the first place to be honest. Bunch of guys I’ve never met kicking around a piece of inflated animal skin against another bunch of guys I’d never met. Who cares

And another 2 go down. This year's clearly over. Hope in the reboot we invest in some forward 50 pace. It's not surprising opposition teams score goals rebounding out of defence. We simply don't have anyone quick enough done there to apply pressure, other than Harry (and he hasn't looked particularly willing today).

Owies, Motlop, Fogarty, Elijah. None of them quick enough. And Charlie doesn't defend on principle.

At least we tried hard that quarter, against all the odds. Kennedy has been good. Acres and Newman tried hard. Saad's not defending very well, but at least he was offering some rebound.

That is exactly what will happen or trade it for a similar type of midfielder that we have already got

I'd already decided this about European football earlier this year. AFL was the positive to counter balance the unrelenting negative. Now Carlton has ruined that, although at least I still enjoy watching the sport.

The only sport eliciting any happiness is the Olympics and now that's over. Might have to learn a musical instrument and take control of my own happiness.

No membership for me next year unless the club undergoes a serious overhaul. afaic EVERYONE is on the v trading block.

We could miss finals twice in three years and both times from being 11-4

How ?!?!

Just woke up here in Ireland
4 players out and Boyd struggling

No depth coming through the reserves
Players can't get on the park and stay on the park

2022 all over again.
We are no better than Essendon*

Motlop should be dragged for that.

Perhaps start a "The Musical Instrument I'm learning coz I don't GAF about footy anymore" thread

a roaring shitshow.

i've been down for so long about this club. it was always plausible this kind of meltdown (missing the 8) was coming. i think like many here, i need to tailback how much i support this clusterfck of a club, and be much more casual.

it’s funny how you say that you still enjoy watching the sport… I’m going the other way with regard to that. Stupid rules, and lack of rule enforcement.
