I'm normally one of the annoying optimists pre-game, but I'll confess to shitting bricks about this one.

Tuned into the coverage for 2 minutes "and we won't see marchbank again today". Such a shame.

hmmm. i woke up really hopeful and thinking we'll do the job. a great mate sent me the team sheets and he thinks to man over every line that they beat us except Harry, Martin and Charlie's line. so now i am nervous.

I think our mids are better, but have to play to the ability we know they all have. cerra & walsh in particular.

it'll be a cracking game. they're going to come out hard, and i think we will too. someone's season ends tonight, that much i'm sure of.

we owe them ... i haven't forgotten dane f'ing swan talking shit about us after daicos and his late goal last game.

DeGoey rested to be available in this game for Pendles, and more importantly for Carlton.

Its not Pendles who we should be lining up.
That would only fire up Pies.

I think DeGoey should be bumped hard and as often as possible early, to get his mind off the game.
Whilst he's into self preservation mode, a bump when he's off balance could force him to land awkwardly and flare up his groin.
That would be a treat.

Yeah that went well for us in 2022 when Weitering tried it

Ffs we need consistent four quarter, high pressure, TEAM footy. Do that and we win.

No individual moments, bumps, milestones blah blah. We need a team effort.

I am going to the game with little or no confidence of a win.

One of those games.... Win the middle, deliver and we win...
Smalls down back mop up forward entries under the pressure and we win....

Don't put the pressure on and they deliver to giants in their forward line, our smalls and defence look crap and we lose...
Our mids get scrappy kicks out of the middle which get cleaned up by their wingers (read Daicos) and deliver back (see above) and we lose...

That's how it will pan out IMHO..... We've rolled the dice with smalls, they've done the same with talls

Go Blues

Been waiting for this game. Both teams lift for big clashes like this, so it should be a ripper. Blues by 4 goals.

We have several good players out of form.
I think if Sammy and Adam Cerra hit some form tonight
we will win. And go on with it. We are one big win away
from finding some belief again.

Pressure and intensity to match the Geelong match and we are on our way.
Hopefully Jack Martin plays a team role tonight and drags the third defender away from Charlie or Harry.

Maybe not a big win.

Seems like when we have a big win the media pumps up our tyres and the players pump up their heads and the following week is a shitshow.
